The most amazing location and view, and we were only staying in one of the basic rooms! Particularly loved the two-room style with bedroom + sink area then a living room with couch and tv. Really great value for what you get!! Shared bathroom was pretty clean, great bar and restaurant downstairs, staff were nice. Best swim I’ve ever had at the beach down below!!

The hotel is in a very good location, walking distance to the town and also to the beaches. It is just across the road from the river where the footpath runs all the way to both. It was a quiet and comfortable room and the owners were very friendly. The pool area looked very nice but we didn't get a chance to use it. We enjoyed our stay here.

The location (both the view of the beach and access to a wide variety of eateries), and staff (Deb is a delight!). Our small room was comfy and nicely appointed. The shared public space makes good use of the facility (a restored inn). The front porch area is very appealing!

When i visited Yamba is was hammering down with rain which i guess is unusual. It made my short stay a bit bland as the beach was off and the town was very wet. However, i noticed two very busy restaurants, a nice little collection of shops and takeaways. a few drinking holes etc. Id say when the sun is shining it looks a 100% more appealing. Im told the surfing is great but not my thing. wortha visit if youre a surfer or just travelling up the coast. lots of waterways, pelicand, wildlife. Its just off the highway so easy access and when youre there you feel like youre in the middle of nowhere so that works! Worth a trip for 2-4 days in my opinion.

Lovely place to spend a week or more for a summer holiday. Local restaurants are varied and offer good quality food and service. Yamba is the most delightful place, I would live there if I could. Everything is so convenient. Restaurants are great, and I very rarely come home without a new pair of shoes - the shoe shop is excellent.

I only stayed overnight on my way from QLD to VIC so didn't get to see much of the town. It seemed like a nice little seaside town though and would have loved to be able to stay longer to explore it.

The kitchen/ outdoor area was really lovely for family meals and downtime. Oh and knives that actually cut! That was a real surprise, we usually travel with our own kitchen knives, knowing that holiday rentals usually have dismal kitchen bits. That was a lovely surprise.
