Bright lives up to expectations for Autumn beauty.
Bright lives up to expectations for Autumn beauty. This trip we didn't venture beyond town having done sightseeing drives before. We enjoyed our strolls beside the river from the central area on well marked walking tours. The restaurants we visited to purchase meals to take away to sit by the river were served by polite, cheerful and personable staff on each occasion, and were beautiful.

Great location for bushwalking in mt buffalo.
Great location for bushwalking in mt buffalo. Some nice but expensive restaurants. The bright pub brewery is going downhill, a few years ago it was far better, the food now is terrible and the beer is uninteresting. Very sad. Third visit to bright but I guess we won’t return soon.

Bright is a wonderful town.
Bright is a wonderful town.
There are many activities and sites for people to do and visit.
I recommend booking a bike if you want to tour the surrounding areas. Otherwise, there are fantastic walking tracks around the town.
The town is beautiful in summer and more so in Autumn, when most of the leaves have turned golden brown or red.

The prettiest town we have seen.
The prettiest town we have seen. The Autumn trees are stunning as were the beautiful tree lined streets. The river has so much history with gold mining and caters for all in terms of fishing, cycling, walking and swimming. A village like atmosphere that offers great restaurants and is central to other tourist sites in the area such as Mt Beauty, Myrtleford, Beechworth and Falls Creek.

Beautiful riverside town.
Beautiful riverside town. Popular with holiday makers enjoying the river when hot. Lovely walks along the river. Plenty of options for food and drink in the lovely tree lined town. A good start to hire bikes for the rail trail.
Felt very quiet for a large campsite, surrounded by trees and with river access. More peaceful than the town campgrounds and only <10mins drive to Bright.
The cabin itself was brand new, very comfortable beds and linen. A very large tv in the main area plus a smaller one in the main bedroom, our son was able to play Xbox when not in the playground or pool. We didn’t have time to checkout the games room.
Chestnut Tree Holiday units are set in one of the most beautiful surroundings of Bright, Victoria with immaculate gardens and terrific views from the rooms. Our apartment was super clean and well decorated, beds super comfy and the hosts have gone above and beyond making sure all is provided for a comfortable stay. One of the top places we have stayed at in Victoria. Look forward to returning.
Bright on Track is conveniently located near the town centre, offering a spacious, warm and comfortable living area. There was hot showers, comfy beds and a well-equipped kitchenette. Upon checkout, the staff was very helpful in providing suggestions for a scenic route to take and places to visit for the day. Would come back again!
The cabins are clean and spacious, had everything you needed for a comfortable stay.
The location was very close and walking distance to the river and splash park in Bright.
The gardens were immaculate, the staff was very helpful and friendly.
Family owned Motor inn and is professionally managed. Polite people at the desk. Neat and clean rooms with secure car parking within Inn premises.
Near the Bright city centre 2km which makes it the right spot to book for the stay.
A good location on the way into Bright and the perfect stopover spot for us before heading up to the snow early in the morning. Excellent communication from the Motor Inn to co-ordinate multiple rooms for our group.
Linen was crisp, towels fluffy. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was OK. Apart from the manager the other staff, on reception, the chef, housekeeping & waiting staff were all very pleasant.
Fantastic location. Best value accommodation in Bright for sure. Our room had everything we needed & nothing we didn’t. Not luxury but that’s not what we wanted.
Amazing renovation, stunning decor and hotel facilities - they have thought of everything you need for a luxurious weekend away. Bonus - pool side bar service.
Hotel staff great, did everything to help us. Loved the centre room with cooking facilities. One of the comfiest beds I’ve had at a hotel for a long time.
