The Rose Hotel & Motel, hotel in Australind

Opened in 1865 and renovated and refreshed in 2016, this heritage listed building offers guest accommodations in Western Australia's South-West.

Loved the power of the shower, The bathroom is a little smaller than I'm used to (I live in the USA) everything is bigger. The staff in the Bar were very friendly, the Reception very friendly, and the room maid allowed us a little longer to get ready as we were going to DonnyBrook for a wedding. Bunbery was a lovely place. A truly great experience and the gentleman in the liquor store was very helpful, kept us chatting for a while again lovely person.

Bunbury Hotel Koombana Bay, hotel in Australind

Bunbury Hotel Koombana Bay is a 4.5 star property offering quality facilities and accommodations, located in Bunbury.

The location is central - lots of restaurants, bars and shops within short walking distance. The TV in the room had regular channels and Netflix. We particularly liked the heated indoor pool and hot tub. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel (but it looked like a substantial buffet), but we received two vouchers for free coffees that we enjoyed.

Only stayed two nights. I really liked Australind. Motel room was spacious and had everything required. Loved sitting outside looking at the sunset and water. Next door to pub. Heaps of paths to ride push bikes - along Collie river, into Australind shops and even to Bunbury. Location was great. Saw dolphins. Road does make it a little noisy at times but ear plugs fix that for sleeping. I would stay again.

The room layout was what I expected but due to the paper thin walls and the location of the room near the park entry and exit, I found it too noisy. If you are looking for a quiet peaceful, environment then this is not the place to stay.

Didn't get a chance to do much sight seeing while in Australind due to playing dart's the week I was there. but from what I did get to see, Australind is a quite, relaxing, peaceful area. Had Chinese food from the Chinese shop @ the Local Shopping Centre & the food was great & just melted in the mouth. Also had pizza from the local pizza shop & could not get over the amount of topping on the pizza & the taste, it was amazing. I would recommend the Chinese & Pizza shop's in Australind to anyone. If you enjoy walk's then yes walking around Australind I would recommend, but a car I would definitely recommend to see more of Australind & the surrounding area's.

Close enough to City of Bunbury to visit all the attractions but quiet enough to relax. Watch the sunsets over the estuary, do a little fishing or crabbing and still have heaps eateries close by. Plenty of play grounds and picnic areas for families.
