Bright lives up to expectations for Autumn beauty. This trip we didn't venture beyond town having done sightseeing drives before. We enjoyed our strolls beside the river from the central area on well marked walking tours. The restaurants we visited to purchase meals to take away to sit by the river were served by polite, cheerful and personable staff on each occasion, and were beautiful.

Bright is absolutely stunning especially in the autumn. The main streets were an easy walk from where I stayed at lovely Bright Deluxe. The cafes and restaurants had delicious menus and the staff were so friendly. My objective was to walk the great trails and relax and I definitely achieved it. Great location for bushwalking in mt buffalo.
Great location for bushwalking in mt buffalo. Some nice but expensive restaurants. The bright pub brewery is going downhill, a few years ago it was far better, the food now is terrible and the beer is uninteresting. Very sad. Third visit to bright but I guess we won’t return soon.

Bright is a wonderful town.
Bright is a wonderful town. There are many activities and sites for people to do and visit. I recommend booking a bike if you want to tour the surrounding areas. Otherwise, there are fantastic walking tracks around the town. The town is beautiful in summer and more so in Autumn, when most of the leaves have turned golden brown or red.MarkAustralia - 10Scored 10

Cute town which provides access to the ski slopes and Victorian High Country. It's easy to get to and once there you are spoilt for choice with bike trails, hiking or even leisurely strolls. There are tons of cafes, bakeries and restaurants, catering for all dietaries and cuisines.

The prettiest town we have seen.
The prettiest town we have seen. The Autumn trees are stunning as were the beautiful tree lined streets. The river has so much history with gold mining and caters for all in terms of fishing, cycling, walking and swimming. A village like atmosphere that offers great restaurants and is central to other tourist sites in the area such as Mt Beauty, Myrtleford, Beechworth and Falls Creek.ChrisAustralia

Location was perfect, bedrooms were perfect, kitchen was perfect, bathrooms were perfect. The garage and the access into the house made it so easy to keep the house clean while still enjoying messy sports such as MTB and hiking with kids. Really the facilities were awesome for a holiday in Bright! Got to enjoy all of Bright, Biking and hiking through the day to bars and restaurants of a night. Loved it! All rooms were well appointed, comfortable beds, and the bathrooms were filled with the most beautiful shampoo, conditioner, body, wash, hand wash, etc that you could hope for. Short stroll into the lovely town of Bright and easy access to cafes, restaurants, etc. Priscilla was a delight to deal with, and nothing was too much trouble for her. Highly recommend this property.

The secure bike lock up keeps your pride and joy safe. They even have a workroom complete with a stand and compressor. He motel was close to the town centre the location was ideal.
