This is a great place to stay, the park is clean and very well run, there is even a coffee van which comes round each morning. The staff were very friendly and helpful and gave some great personalised suggestions for local places to visit. Try Anna's Bay for a fantastic coastal walk and to visit the sand dunes.

The was great, you must put in your review that the house has ceiling fans in all rooms, it is important for older people, plus the air con. The deck restaurant is great. Plus it's a walk to soldiers Point bowling club. Not far from the water. We went fishing on the wharf and caught fish to eat.

Great location and view from the unit, very quiet and relaxing location, too many stairs getting to the unit, TV was small but this didn't distract from the stay. The deck restaurant is excellent and the marina at soldiers point is great

We had breakfast outside so we could discover new territory along the water. It is easy to get around but not much to see once you have spent time looking at the water. The dolphin watch was great - I have seen many dolphins but none as big and healthy.
The villa was clean and well maintained.
Very quiet and relaxing.
Loved waking up each morning to the sound of birds chirping.
Perfect for our family getaway. Kitchen was fully equipped, we were able to cook the food we wanted to eat during our stay.
I think soldiers point in general is best for people who loves fishing or boating. For our family though, we preferred the beach with big waves so we packed a picnic to the one mile beach and birubi beach which are both just 10-15 mins drive from Thou walla.
The outstanding feature is superb view to the headlands – absolute beach & water frontage - well-equipped kitchen – comfortable bed and lounge – good TV (can be linked to computer with HDMI cable) - full-size bath - quiet (we were off-season) – well away from road at rear so no road noise - lockup garage as well as additional parking space – not too many stairs to access unit – well-located to access services (e.g. shops) and points of interest on Port Stephens with a short drive.
The rooms a nicely decorated, specious and well set up to also be comfortable during the colder time of the year. The weather was sadly not good enough to check out the pool, but the setting is gorgeous. The continental breakfast had a wide and high quality selection, would definitely recommend it. Also the in-house restaurant has a great selection of cocktails and dishes, so nothing wrong with staying in and enjoying the hotel properties.
The room was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. Rick Steins restaurant was fantastic and the breakfast was top class. The location is great as it is close to other eating places such as the bowling club over the road and the Deck at the marina ( a short drive or a long walk). Lovely watching the kookaburras on the balcony and the filtered views of the water.
Fantastic family holiday in cabins with the Grandkids. They had a ball in the pools and in the games room and riding on the bikes. The cabins are really comfortable and clean and we enjoyed sitting on the verandah watching the kids play. It is next door to the bowls club where we had a really nice meal as well. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
The setting of the hotel room is perfect. It reminded me I'm on my lovely holiday.
The reception lady was super nice! She explained to me how to use the hotel with great kindness. I really appreciated it.
My son loves the pool very very much. He keeps asking me when we will go there again which I'm actually thinking of as well.
Such a beautiful quiet area, we were surrounded by wildlife like pelicans and kookaburra. We even saw a koala from the restaurant balcony at the hotel. The room was a good size and the beds comfortable. We had wonderful massages at the in house spa, and all the staff were lovely.
Room was clean and hotel was easy to access and walk around. There is a nice relaxing atmosphere in the pool area. A glass of champagne is also offered on arrival which was nice. The pop up Mexican restaurant they have there serves good food.
Lovely staff, was great to have dinner booking at Ricks all on the system so the day/evening was seamless. Lovely little gift and message from the hotel on our anniversary too which was very thoughtful.
The location of the hotel is perfect. The room was very clean and spacious. Bannisters has great facilities. Hotel staff are lovely and friendly. Enjoyed happy hour.
