Breakfast was fine. Staff helpful and friendly. It was across a side road from an excellent Chinese restaurant.

Toowoomba is great. Smaller than the likes of Brisbane city, but bigger than the average country town. I'm a fan, we'll be back.
Toowoomba is very easy to navigate, being mostly laid out in a grid pattern. Easy to walk around the heart of the city for shopping and food.

It’s very diverse, lots of sightseeing, plenty of places to go and eat. The Asian gardens are at their best in spring and autumn as they are my favourite time of year.
Has some great places to go shopping. Once of the main road through town the side streets look pretty with all the jacaranda trees that have been growing for over a hundred plus years.
If you want to see them in full bloom then visit for the yearly flower festival held every spring.

Toowoomba is a great town.
Toowoomba is a great town.
I love the way that it has retained much of it's heritage and feel of being a big country town rather than a city.
Locals are friendly and helpful, streets are wide and parking is easy.
I will be back...

Toowoomba is a beautiful city, especially if you are partial to trees and gardens. In addition to this there is more than enough shopping and some amazing views. Plus the cafe scene is well stocked and bars are all over the place! Certainly worth the trip.

They still have many of the old architectural building which is a credit to the town. Being central you could walk just about everywhere.

Our last overnight stop before home so did not spend much time there.
Would be an ideal place to stay for the yearly flower festival. Visited the Cobb & Co museum which was very interesting. Nice, very popular cafe inside. Made our own supper with food purchased from the Coles supermarket which was right near the Jacaranda Place Motor Inn. A fast food outlet was situated on the other side of the road, so no need to go hungry.
Location is perfect. Was pleasantly surprised by how modern and large the rooms are. Modern tapware, tv, microwave and fridge. Nice sofa, loads of wardrobe space. Beds are super comfy. Receptionist was very friendly and accommodating - allowing us to have an early check in as we were attending a wedding. More than enough parking available. I would definitely stay here again if I travelled to Toowoomba again. It exceeded my expectations and is better than most hotels I've stayed in. Highly recommend.
We booked a 2 bedroom room, it was a spacious room (Room 516)
Beds were firm, comfy and sheets were very clean.
Microwave, fridge, kettle and a few utensils to use.
Lots of towels for 4 people.
Small balcony you could open and enjoy the street view.
The location of this Oaks was great. Walking distance to the main restaurant and touristy strip, lots of shops and a block away from Grand Central.
Kids used the lap pool.
True older style units BUT the cleanest we have stayed in for some time now. Comfy bed great shower preasure. All staff friendly can't complement them enough. Stayed twice this mth + another booking for the end of August + I will add probably the cheapest in Toowoomba. Close to shops + eateries, what more can we say. Well done, Management + Staff 🥰🥰🥰
The rooms are extremely clean,The location is just perfect for me as it was close to work,The staff are friendly,I have stayed in a few Motels in Toowoomba and I must say this would be the best Motel I’ve ever stayed in and I most definitely will be back.
Excellent motel in a quiet area of Toowoomba, just right for overnight stopover. Great pub food across the road as well as Dan Murphy's. Short drive to town and supermarkets. Walkable if you're fit. Very comfortable rooms with easy check in.
Location was very good easy to get to & car park good no worries. when you know your way round Toowoomba simple
breakfast was great we were able to get our own. I was lucky enough to arrive when cleaner was there so she opened door.
The staff were absolutely amazing and such down to earth people. The rooms have such a home like feel to them and the beds are the most comfortable beds I’ve found around Toowoomba hotels. 10/10, we ended up booking an extra night.
The location was perfect for our stay. Easy walking and driving distance to the main areas of Toowoomba and the lock up garage was a bonus. Hollie was a very caring and helpful host.
I can't fault the Oaks in Toowoomba. They are impeccably clean rooms with fantastic service. Nikki, the manager, is the best customer service I have experienced in a hotel
Comfortable room, very quiet despite being a weekend with a lot of bar custom in the bar. Food option in the hotel restaurant plus shopping centre next door
