Amazing use of ecology. Photovoltaics produce the electricity, water is recycled and reused for gardening etc, there is an animal farm with hens producing the eggs used, goats for the milk for the cheese , bio veggie garden , bio herbes , orange and lemon groves and olive trees for the olive oil and olives consumed on the site. The concept of having an ecological hotel is extraordinary.
Enjoy a peaceful beach break in this family-run, seafront hotel, located in the tranquil fishing village of Latchi - between the mountains and sea in western Cyprus.
Marion Hotel is located in Paphos district, in the town of Polis Chrysochous, one of the most beautiful areas of Cyprus.

This is a time capsule to the 80s but on very cute and respectable way. I liked every piece of it as it reminded those long gone family holidays with my parents to the Mediterrenean which a re now replaced by plastic and mass tourism. I liked every bit of it.
Located in the peaceful resort of Polis, this family-run hotel provides modern amenities and plenty of indoor and outdoor activities for all the family, along with free private parking.

Inside the compound it is very quiet from the road, other side of the road is filled with restaurants, souvenir shops and supermarkets, but rather small in total, the harbor. Best supermarket in Polis, ~4km.
Great place with garage, private place, best location for trips into the Akamas.

As this is our first visit to Polis, we found everything breathtaking, the island, the mountain views, the clear water, the sunshine, food, everything. The roads take some getting used to as you're driving through mountains (ups and downs - some narrow roads) but this added to the adventure. We visited the capital Nicosia - which is a stark contrast from Polis, this is not a bad observation but it did take us by surprise - we wish we had more time to explore. The experience was worth it

A very good hotel for the price range with comfortable beds, large terrace, bathtub and private pool. Parking opposite the hotel is also convenient. The staff was friendly and helpful. All in all, I can only recommend the Hotel Marion.

Quiet, rural but totally idyllic... you need a car or torch for getting to anywhere in the evenings. The town has fabulous resturants but is still small and non-touristic. We could not find any fault with Polis and will be returning next year.

Pleasant enough town but becoming too touristy.
Pleasant enough town but becoming too touristy. Quite a few empty, run down shops detract from area. The Old Town restaurant by far the best in town. Also try Pas to Kima in Argaka and Restamare, Poto Latchi and Yialos in Latchi.

When I saw the rating of the hotel I was skeptical, but after all everything was ok. I understand that some people are giving bad reviews because they expect much more than they should expect from a 2-star hotel. People feel they are misled but there is nothing misleading about the place. Read the description well before you book. What it says there is what you get. Nothing more, nothing less. Stuff is great. There were knocking on the door everyday asking me if i want the room to be cleaned or if i need something.
Beautiful hotel right on a small beach with blue waters, located within the Akamas area in very close proximity to the natural park of Akamas. The hosts were very welcoming, friendly and helpful offering traditional Greek hospitality. The room had great views over the beach and the breakfast was excellent on a nice terrace with great views over the bay. Will certainly book again on our return to Cyprus

If you travel to Cyprus you should stay minimum one night in this little traditional house mixed with oriental vibes !
The rooms are very clean and beautiful.
The owner is very warm and he will recommend you typical places in the area.
There is place to park the car and the wifi is working well in front of the rooms.
The hotel staff was very kind and helpful. From the moment you arrive to the lobby, you are greeted in a way that gives you the feeling that you are wanted... and it continues during the visit. The location is great. Near the beach and one of the closest places to the nicest part of the Cyprus.
It was the most adorable, the cosiest little house I've stayed in in Cyprus. it is beautifully decorated, fully equipped, clean and very comfortable. The neighbourhood is very quiet so our sleep was deep and uninterrupted. `the beach is only 2 min drive away. We will definitely be back!
Nice small apart hotel. Very welcoming manager. Explained everything and greeted us with the cyprus coffee and pie. Very nice location.
Clean, quiet, 3...4 minutes drive to the beaches.
The apartment is fully suitable for 2 people.
Highly recommended
located in a convenient location close to the sea and the Polis Chrysochous town centre. It has a parking space behind the apartment building and a clean swimming-pool. the rooms where clean and the owners that run the place are very helpful.
We absolutely appreciated the calm location in the nature and the comfort. The family was so nice and friendly. The dog is very lovely. We had 3 locations at Cyprus within our 9-day stay but this was by far the best !
Polis 1907 is a unique little hotel in the center of Polis Chrysochous. The rooms are lovely, tastefully decorated and the space is beautiful. The bed was very comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful.
I absolutely love this place! Best place we've stayed in in Cyprus. Everything was exceptional, but particularly the bed (my husband is over 2 meters tall, and it's always hard to find beds that are big enough).
Perfect location for walking to local bars and restaurants. Staff were always on hand if you need any assistance and were always very friendly. The hotel is situated only a short drive from the nearest beach.
