We spent one night here prior to a morning flight.
We spent one night here prior to a morning flight. I chose the hotel based on the fact that they had breakfast and airport shuttle. They were not included in the price of the room which surprised me. Getting to the hotel from downtown Munich required a ride on both the metro train and the bus. It's not within walking distance of the metro without catching the bus. The hotel was new, clean and modern. The best part was the little Italian restaurant across the street.

The village itself has nothing special to offer, but its proximity to the airport or being on the way between munich and other places like Landshut. If you don't want a hotel in the centeer, but well connected, this could be a good decission. You can also find bakeries and other business typical of a neighborhood around.

I do not recommend for foreign visitors who get late to the propriety because of delay in landing to take a car and try to come to this propriety
It is far from the airport and very dark at night
We did not find xomeone at the reception desk and had to call but we did not have a local sim yet
Finally the room was at the second floor without elevator and could not bring the laguage and also the warm water and the cold water is a problem when you take a shower

Hallbergmoos is a small town which seems to have become a breeding ground for hotels since the opening of the airport some years ago. It doesn't seem to have a lot of individual character; the land is very flat, it's a commuter town for Munich, and in the autumn can be foggy and unwelcoming. But it's fine for a stopover on your way to the airport. It's still semi-rural, and the Hallbergmoos S-Bahn station is 2.2 km out of town.

Really friendly employees all the way around.
Really friendly employees all the way around. Spent an extra night and was very comfortable in my room. FYI the part of the hotel across from the original has an elevator. Food was delicious- I had the Kaesespaetzle two nights in a row. It is the perfect hotel to book before your flight! The shuttle driver was friendly and efficient. This is my 3rd time staying there and I have recommended it to friends, who were also pleased.
The hotel was very clean with well-sized nicely appointed rooms. Air conditioning was a plus. Staff was pleasant and helpful (ie. calling taxis for us). Located close to the airport but not noisy. Rather far from Munich City Center so taxi rides were expensive. You could use buses & trains as an alternative. Less expensive by far but takes more time and can be challenging to negotiate the changes and stops if you don’t speak/read German. Good bar and restaurant on site but rather expensive for meals.
My mother was on her trips to visit my grandfather and she used a wheelchair because of her old age She had a transit at Munich Airport and her flights were cancelled I contacted the owner of the hotel, his name is Mustafa, and he promised me to help her I'm so surprised He helped her, brought her to the hotel, provided her with food, and then delivered her to the airport the next day I will never forget this situation Thank you Mustafa, thank you from the heart.
I loved everything about my overnight stay at Hotel Neuwirt. Super friendly and accommodating staff, renovated room nicely and well designed with great shower and comfortable bed, convenient location near airport and highway was also peaceful, everywhere was impeccably clean, terrific restaurant, lots of parking, pet friendly. I’m definitely staying there again next time and I am traveling via Munich.
Price & location were the only redeeming qualities.
Pillow should be put in garbage, blanket size so small only suitable for a child.
Property is old and run down, especially Regent Building. Upgrades to add internet has wires on the outside walls in room & hallway. Compared to the other 10 hotels I stayed at on this holiday for similar price, very poor.
At first I thought it would be a regular hotel next to an airport. But I didn't expect such a nice and relaxing atmosphere. A really nice lounge area, rooms are soundproof so I could not hear any airplanes and the breakfast was amazing, its a shame to be on a diet with food like that.
All in all a really nice experience.
The location is perfect for Munich airport and having spent a few days in the city Hallbergmoos had a feel of old Bavaria.
The staff were friendly and went out of their way to help if you needed something.
There’s a bar nearby with a nightclub underneath and if you are lucky they run festival events.
Connectivity to the Munich Airport is very good from the hotel. The rooms are smaller but fine for the stay for a night or two. Breakfast available with the hotel for extra 10 Euro. But I took breakfast in village bakery accessible by 15 mins walking.
Very large hotel with free breakfast buffet, clean rooms and a ten minute cab ride to the airport. About 35 min to downtown Munich. They have a shuttle to and from airport but only runs at certain times.
Handy, near airport, taxi $30, next morning $10 for two back to airport with hotel shuttle bus to catch the Lufthansa bus into Munich. Would definitely use again
