Booking was charging me $63, at the location Booking did not contact me, the owner of another apartment came and demanded 5,000.00 pesos in cash, $82.00, way over the amount from Booking, very upset for this action, I never received a receipt for my payment...in my opinion a real scam...
I am very unhappy about using Booking. Com

Bayahibe small and cozy, easy to drive, we were there to look for possible place to live. However the europeans have locked up the town and are building many apartment complex's for tourism. Too expensive to rent or buy in Bayahibe. Nice place to visit at Villa Baya for 4 days and that is it. 30 tour bus's bring in 2000 people daily from all over to go on catamaran tours, particularly to Isla Saona I suspect, as well as the scuba business. When the apartment complexs are finished in the next 2 to 3 years, Bayahibe is going to be totally overcrowded I suspect. I asked about snorkel tour for a couple hours. $150 usd!!!!! OUCH!! I am a snorkeler as well as a dedicated swimmer.

This is a very safe feeling small village.
This is a very safe feeling small village. We never felt unsafe as we walked around during days or nights. The restaurants along the waterfront served great food at very reasonable prices. Most of the waitstaff do not speak English which made for a bit of fun. I highly recommend taking a full day trip to Saona Island if you are traveling to Bayahibe.

Bayahíbe is an excellent place.
Bayahíbe is an excellent place. Nice view and it is closer from the SDQ airport than Punta Cana.
The beach was pretty safe and there is a lot of security staff all around the place. No problem with that.
The beach is not too salty, and the sand is clean and white. I really liked Bayahíbe.
The hosts were kind and always smiling, the check-in including the payment went really smooth. The room was quite old, but it was clean, the bed was comfy and there were all facilities we needed. And it was really amazing to stay in the accommodation that is typical for the Dominican Republic. It is close to the Mya store, a great local comedor and the beach is approx. 15 minutes by walk. Be aware that during the weekend, locals like music and everywhere in the streets is loud music until midnight. For us, this was a great experience. 🙂
Great accommodation & very friendly host who is fluent in English. The room is not very big, but has everything you need: bed, air-con, fridge, TV, balcony and an own bathroom - and we appreciated that everything was very clean. Location is great, it only takes 5min by foot to the harbour where all the restaurants and mini market are and where to boats to Isla Saona leave. Long story short, a perfect hotel for little money to stay in Bayahibe.
Thanks again for the ride to La Romana!
I liked the beach but the location is maybe not the most convenient considering the transportation. The hotel was beautiful but unfortunately not very clean and they even had ants. Some staff members were very nice and tried very hard but many were quite lazy? Overall the experience was very good as I was spending time with my friends and that was the most important thing but there was some disappointment when it comes to the hotel and staff.
The apartment was nice. We were on the first floor and there was always a breeze which was very nice. The air condition in the bedroom worked well. We had a fan in the den. We stayed here for 10 nights and loved it being close to several restaurants. We had a rental car to explore also the surrounding area. The Hotel is fenced and you can park the car inside. Bayahibe is a very neat little town with lots of bars and restaurants. We loved it.
Super good location, walking distance from restaurants, grocery store, and the beach of course! Parking available across from the hotel, in a gated spot. Hotel provided us with a big room and crib, always love when hotels are child friendly. The rooftop pool was wonderful as was the restaurant providing great views of the town. The hotel staff was fantastic they really made our experience unforgettable! Thank you Rudy, Ryan, Omarly and Alex!
Super close to the city center, 5 min max walking distance. We spent 4 days with a friend to work remotely and the apartment was perfect, it had a sort of studio and plenty of space to work. Luca (the owner) was just amazing, super flexible with the timing, friendly and open to give suggestions of what to do and visit in the entire Dominican Republic. The price was also very good compared to other places in the area. Totally recommended.
Excellent hotel with friendly and helpful personnel -Superbly clean, with excellent breakfast options (my favorite being the rooftop buffet) —Bright and conveniently situated hotel
A lot needs to be said: the hotel is spotless, the service is top-notch, and they genuinely cared that our stay was memorable. The breakfast was tasty and well-rounded. Connected to the beach and other attractions as well.
the place was very very nice. the location was just perfect, it’s possible to walk around in Bayahibe, to the port from where tours leave to Saona island. the staff were very friendly and helpful. the room was very very clean. we could not be happier, we only stayed 2 nights but if we ever come back to Dominican Republic, we will definitely stay here again.
Great location and communication with Nicoletta, great facilities (Nespresso coffee machine and capsules provided by the host, drinking water dispenser). The best option from far (we stayed in 4 different locations during our stay in Dominican Republic, including one top resort in Punta Cana and still we loved here the most).
A wonderful private exclusive complex in the Dominican Republic’s best beach, could not believe the value for the two bed apartment with access to the pools and the pier sunbathing platform/ lots of sunloungers available amazing view, beach restaurant is really nice also for that sundown drink
Bayahibe Village Inn is the first dispersed hotel of the DR. It is new concept of hospitality . I really appreciate the concept, the project they are developing. Accommodations are good, there are many types. Lot of services offered directly on the official webpage .
We had a wonderful stay. The hotel was great, and it was conveniently located near a stunning beach. The staff was great; they were quick to respond, kind, and helpful whenever I had questions or concerns.
Very nice place, great value for money
Owner is very present & friendly, so is staff accommodating to all guest requests
A rare small hotel in bayahibe
Great breakfast as well
Stunning place! Delicious Italian food. Large rooms, perfect cleanliness, great attention from the staff. Definitely the best hotel on our trip to the Dominican Republic.
