Spacious place, great views, very comfortable and quiet. We had a small unexpected problem during our stay and the host solved it in a fast and outstanding way. We were overall very pleased, and we'll definitely come back soon.

Very cheap and only a short walk to Gibralta. There are parking garages nearby with resonable multi-day parking prices.
We got a room with more beds than needed.
We could open the window for fresh air as it gets quite warm in March

It was an overnight stay post golf en route to next golf destination. The hotel team were friendly, efficient and very helpful. Hotel very comfortable and food satisfactory for the occasion. Would definitely stay again. Did not use the pool or other facilities. Short trip to Sotogrande for restaurants and next to La Reseva golf course. ideal location.
Alcaidesa is a pleasant little township on the coast.
Alcaidesa is a pleasant little township on the coast. There is a small plaza and limited hospitality area with 3-4 good cafes and restaurants. Not expensive, mostly locals and ex-pats around, everyone friendly. Love the 2 beach bars, with good food and drinks and superb views. The beach is clean and good for children and swimming, etc. Need a car to explore area, very limited bus service. Local golf courses available, and Sotogrande with high class golf and marinas, Gibraltar for shopping and sightseeing within 30 minute drive, cities of southern Spain not far away. Much of the (newer) holiday apartment acommodation a good 15-20 min walk from the village. Good for a few days, or more if planning to use as a base for the area.

Alcaidesa is lovely, peaceful and has a great beach.
Alcaidesa is lovely, peaceful and has a great beach. The property Seaviews that we stayed at, was miss sold on the website! Claiming it has a hot tub, which was one of the key factors in our booking. The hot tub had been removed and after speaking to the host, she said it was only seasonal!!!! Which was a lie because after complaining again when I got home she said it was removed for our own safety because of weather conditions!! They weather was great apart from a couple of small showers. Don’t stay at any properly run by these hosts.

The hotels are mainly on hills so the sea seems to be close at hand but in fact, its 15 mins of walk down a steep hill. The beach is large and natural, with no shade, even artificial. The water is usually quite cold (17 °C in June).

It’s a nice quiet resort Gibraltar is on 20 minutes away. There is a golf course with 2 courses, one main bar along with a pizza resturant and take out. One kiosk selling hot snack food and alcohol.A mini market that sells awesome fresh meat etc.a chemist, and a small shop selling alcohol. 3 chiringuitos one more expensive than the other 2. Do Blanco’s being the best in my opinion. It lacks tapas bars, bars patisserie. A quiet resort for looking to chill !

Hadn't realised it was all Urbanisation, lacking in restaurants, bars and shops, no beachfront to wander. The Bengal Indian Restaurant was great and certainly had the monopoly. A good base for visiting other places in Cadiz and Malaga Provinces. Outside the hot season the area is good for walks and the views to Gibraltar wonderful. Well landscaped too.

A small urbanisation of mainly private villas and apartments. Accessed down a very steep road so I would recommend hiring a car if you want to be out and about.
Very picturesque and fantastic views along the coast.
Didn’t see any local shops or supermarket.
A couple of bars and restaurants.
