I bought this place, that was an old andalusian "cortijo" in 2001. My previous experience working in construction helped me re-built myself, slowly but surely, and it became a hostel in 2007.

The hostel was built in 2007. We have 11 rooms, living-dining room w/chimney, bar, terrace and a traditional andalusian patio, very fresh for southern Spain hot summer evenings. In season You'll get to see a stork couple that made a nest next to our terrace and come to visit us every year. ************************************************************************************************************** We would like to inform you that, for stays longer than 1 day, the cleaning service in the rooms will be carried out every other day. This is because our property operates as a hostel, and our cleaning team focuses on rooms will be occupied to ensure they are ready for new guests.

The area's main activity is bull breeding, a unique opportunity to see Spanish fighting bulls in their natural environment. You can even visit local ranches for a unique experience! - We are 8 km from Castillo de las Guardas and its well-known Nature Reserve (one of the largest animal parks in Europe, with more than 100 different species) - The Riotinto mines (19th century train, traces of 5,000 years of mining activity, walk on "Mars") and the Grotto of Wonders in Aracena (1200 meters of underground gallery of impressive limestone formations) are 30 minutes by car. - For lovers of good food, Aracena is known for its jabugo ham and mushrooms. - In addition, throughout the region there are many hiking and mountain biking trails.
