Absolutely brilliant hotel. The staff we spoke to were great. The bar is excellent and very cheap compared to what I expected for the area. The location of the hotel is perfect for anyone looking to go out for food and drinks. Almost in the centre of the town. The balcony next door to the rooms is amazing when the sun is shining.

The staff are extremely friendly, it’s such a lovely diamond place that you don’t expect in the spot it’s in. The room was really clean and modern, not super huge but the perfect stay as we were only there for the night. It’s on a beautiful square with loads of little cafes and pubs around, and easy parking too!

Clean, comfy bed and newly renovated. Was a perfect little stay. Good coffee machine in the room too. Wifi password was easily accessible and had an iron.

The room was compact but absolutely sufficient, comfy beds, good powerful shower, hairdryer supplied in room. Plus, two sets of earplugs. Pay and display car park right outside the pub which is ideal. Staff were really friendly, welcoming and helpful plus the room was clean and competitively priced. Selby is a lively place on a Saturday night!

Central location. Large car park opposite (chargeable at times). If you wanted a drink, you only had to go downstairs as it is a pub! Small bathroom was well laid out. Great location for exploring. York is around 30 mins away.

We want to thank a lot the staff a lot. We were checking in after midnight, because of the long delay of our flight. The staff was very responsive and accomodating, given it was passed their check-in hours. The bed was also ver comfy and bathroom very clean. Tip for travellers who are not used to pub culture in UK, bring along earplugs, as there may be some notice from the street. Nevertheless, it adds the charm to the place.
