It is a self contained apartment adjacent to the family home with a separate private entrance
There is a small private patio/terraced area where you can sit outside and take-in the views of Inverness and the hills beyond.
Open styled living room / kitchen which is well equipped with oven/hob, microwave, washing machine, Smart TV and Super fast Wi-Fi 800+ download speed.
It is close to local amenities, supermarkets and cafes at the bottom of the single track road and it is approximately 3miles / 5km to the city centre.
* PLEASE note we are not on a direct bus route and we are up a hill therefore a car is advised
We welcome you to our Highland home, where as a family we initially set up holiday letting to raise funds for our daughter (Alana) to go on an educational school trip/project (World Challenge) to help underprivileged families in Loas, Asia.
After Alana completed this trip she continued running the holiday let as a summer job helping to fund herself through Glasgow University.
Alana has now graduated and we continue to run the apartment as holiday let as a retirement project.
Our house is in semi rural area, up a quiet single track road, it is on a elevated position with beautiful views over Inverness and at the back the bedroom looks onto open fields.
At the bottom of the hill, very close by are local amenities ;-
Inshes district park, Supermarkets, Tesco, Aldi, Co op. Costa coffee, MacDonald, Dobbies restaurant and Bannatyne Health Club, University of Highland and Islands, Raigmore Hospital Approximately 3 miles / 5km from town centre (5 minutes by car) We very close to lovely hiking/walks and cycle paths.
It is the starting point for the Route route 500, Lochness is a short drive away, (maybe even see the Lock Ness monster)
Whisky trails and Cairngorm national park within 40 mins drive.
Please note we are not on a direct bus route therefore a car is more advisable.
