Welcome to Borough Cottage, our beautiful 3 bedroom Georgian country cottage with a private garden located right in the heart of of Chipping Norton. The property its just a short walk to boutique shops, charming cafes and restaurants, antique shops, village cinema and a public lido. Whether you're visiting for a weekend, a business trip or some well deserved time off, you will create lasting memories in this charming cottage.
I'm Evelyn, a research scientist by background. After many years in the lab, I've decided to do something different-so here I am! Together with my husband Alan, we both love travelling and meeting people from all over the world – sharing stories about their experiences. We look forward to hosting and meeting you next!
Situated in the center of Chipping Norton, the gateway to the Cotswolds and just a short walk to the local shops, pubs and restaurants. Diddly-Squat Farm shop (Jeremy Clarkson's Farm from Clarkson's Farm TV series) is a 4 minute drive or 25 minute walk from Borough Cottage. Soho Farmhouse and Daylesford Organic are a 10 minutes’ drive away. Blenheim Palace is a 20 minutes’ drive away and picturesque towns of Burford, Broadway or Stow on the Wold all less than 20 minutes’ drive away. Walton Hall is 30 minutes’ drive from the Borough Cottage, while Oxford city is 30-40 minutes’ drive from the property. We have a long list of recommendations so please do get in touch for ideas on places to see/visit - we love hosting guests to this wonderful part of the world and look forward to you staying with us soon.
