"Brabands is a luxury space that gives you a hug from the moment you walk in." 82 square metres of well-being. A master bedroom styled on the finest hotels we all know and love, with 800 tog Egyptian cotton sheets, hotel grade embossed bathrobes and towels. Stroll out of the front door and you are instantly amongst some of the best walks in the south east. Roam amongst the apple orchards or take a visit to Rye or Camber Sands. We are perfectly located for your stay to discover 1066 country.
Abby and I are so happy to welcome you to Brabands Cottage here in the heart of 1066 country. This place has become so special to us after we moved here in 2022 from Kent. It is a great spot to go out and discover Rye, the beaches and 1066 country or to just curl up and relax. As a family we have so many great memories attached to it as we converted the barns and improved the main house and we hope you too will create your own memories during your stay. In the Welcome pack you will find lots of information, the do’s and dont’s and hopefully a list of useful areas to visit, things to do and great places to eat! We hope we have it all covered - however, if we are missing anything, please let us know in the visitors book! We kindly ask you to respect our house rules and be mindful of leaving lights on or running the dish washer or washing machine excessively. We hope you enjoy your stay. This quintessential English town, is one of the best preserved medieval towns in England, and is packed with prettiness, quirk and general gorgeousness. Rye in East Sussex (not Kent), is one of those pretty little market towns that time seems to have passed by. Ensconced between the green rolling hills of the South Downs and the English Channel, Rye has a rich history, tales of smuggling and a raft of independent shops and galleries. There are also some excellent vineyards nearby, ripe for visiting. The town oozes charm and is endowed with pleasing measures of cuteness and quirk. Rye is about 10 miles from the Sussex seaside town of Hastings on the south coast of the United Kingdom. Private parking and EV charging available (extra charge). You can get to town by car or bike. We have E-Bikes available to rent upon request.
