The location is exceptional but the property was in need of some love obviously it’s not expensive and as we were just there for one night and left early the next day it wasn’t a problem but there was no outside light so turning up in the dark is rather difficult the room was cramped a bed up against the wardrobe so you couldn’t hang up clothes which was fine for us if your going Trekking it’s fine to just sleep and leave and in the summer I’m sure it’s nice with the amazing surroundings

The breakfast was fantastic, well cooked and made to order. I am coeliac and the host was able to accommodate my allergy without any prior warning (they were able to provide gluten free bread and sausages). The room was very clean and comfortable, very welcoming. The hosts were lovely, we arrived slightly later than planned but they had no issues waiting up for us and settling us in. Overall I would very much recommend this BNB!

The ground are beautiful. Beyond that it is a mess. The drawing room ceiling is falling apart. The wooden stairs to our room are in the beginning stages of desperate repair. The layout of the bathroom was strange.
Devils bridge falls was the main reason for going to wales...
Devils bridge falls was the main reason for going to wales and was well worth the 7 hour drive.
There are some great places to eat and most of the towns such as bistro dining fish and chips and local pubs.
It can be a bit difficult driving around area due to small lanes and bends, but a couple of days and you get used to it.
Lots of great walks and steam trains were amazing.
