Beautifully converted in 2021 the quality finish and decoration is evident as soon as you walk through the door of Chapel Mouse Cottage. Downstairs there is a modern, newly fitted kitchen and open plan living/dining. Upstairs there are two bedrooms The twin room has images of a "Setmurthy Herdwick" and the double a "Rannerdale Herdwick" both painted by a local Maryport artist with some of the original beams from its days as a chapel and a shower room with walk-in shower. The popular Cumbrian town of Cockermouth, birthplace of William Wordsworth, is just a short walk away from Chapel Mouse Cottage. In fact, the National Trust Wordsworth House is just a few minutes walk. Your nearest supermarket and a couple of pubs serving great food and local cask ales are also a few minutes walk away. The main town centre is also easily reached on foot. Cockermouth is a thriving market town full of hidden surprises at every turn.
