We have long been involved in York's hospitality trade owning and running The Churchill Hotel (a four star full service hotel) and also Jorvik House (a smaller five star boutique hotel). The Chapel Penthouse is a new addition to our business which we sincerely hope that you will love.

Property info

A luxury escape just a five minute walk to the city centre and York Minster, the heart of York’s shopping district and all its major attractions. This is a brand new penthouse which has been finished to the highest standard for 2020. There are two bedrooms – the master bedroom with a king size bed and en suite bathroom with a shower. The second bedroom has twin beds which can also be made up as a king size bed and the main bathroom has a bath & shower. Towels and bed linen are provided free of charge. The apartment is very spacious, open plan with a huge 70” screen smart tv & ultrafast fibre Wifi throughout. The fully fitted kitchen has all the facilities to stay in and cook with a hob, oven, microwave and dishwasher. There is a small supermarket located just at the front of the building. The City Centre apartment is close to many of York’s attractions including The Minster, Shambles, National Railway Museum, Clifford's Tower, Bettys Tea Room and many more. Groves Chapel, was originally a Wesleyan Methodist chapel dating from the early 1880s which was converted in 2017 into just 16 contemporary apartments with lovely views of York Minster.
