Beautifully furnished, Church View is the perfect little bolt hole to return to after a day exploring the area. On the north west edge of the Lake District National Park, Cockermouth is a bustling market town with a fantastic range of independent shops, museums, art centre and eating places, and is best known as the birthplace of William Wordsworth. Nearby, you&rsquo;ll find the beautiful northern fells for walking, Bassenthwaite Lake, with its stunning backdrop of the iconic Skiddaw, and Derwentwater for sailing and Whinlatter for mountain biking.
