The manager of this hotel is so wonderful - very welcoming and goes out of his way to make sure you have a good stay with everything you need. It's so refreshing to have that human touch at a hotel and was a welcome surprise. We are so grateful for your help and kindness. The hotel room was perfect, comfy and roomy. Great shower. And breakfast included is very good value.

The location is really good, only a few mins walk to bus stops, local shops, even the hospital.
It took me around 20 mins to walk into town, if you fancy looking at the older buildings in the surrounding areas, I would recommend it.

Partially within the Peak District, Sheffield is best known for being the setting of ‘The Full Monty’, a film whose title means the whole works. Indeed, vibrant Sheffield has the whole works - excellent shopping, great nightlife and an impressive sporting heritage.
It first came to fame during the Industrial Revolution for its pioneering role in the UK steel industry. One technique invented here is commemorated in the name of its most famous theatre – The Crucible, home of the Snooker World Championships.
Close by are the peaceful Winter Gardens with their multi-arched roof. The Peace Gardens are overlooked by the elegant town hall, and the focal building of the impressive Botanical Gardens somewhat resembles Crystal Palace, also by the same architect.
The city’s 2 football teams – Sheffield United and Wednesday – play at Bramall Lane and Hillsborough Stadium respectively. The cutting-edge English Institute of Sport is also based here, and the nearby Sheffield Arena is a prime UK venue for music and entertainment. The best shopping is found in the Meadowhall Centre near Rotherham.
Booking.com’s Sheffield accommodation includes city centre hotels with parking, others by Victoria Train Station, and guest houses near Doncaster Sheffield Robin Hood Airport.

Sheffield is a wonderful city that doesn't pretend to be London. More quiet, friendlier and down to earth, a classic working class city with a rich history and many beautiful spots to disover, especially many amazing parks and lots of nature within the city.

Love Sheffield.
Love Sheffield.
Active, busy multicultural city with parks and green spaces within easy walking distance.
Lots going on. We'll definitely be back.
A favourite were the Ethiopian restaurants.... Mesob Restaurant, London Road. It's authentic and great for vegetarian, vegan and gluten free food. Great portions, too. We took home leftovers that lasted another 3 meals!

An excellent Italian Restaurant - very good food
The buildings, both those which appear to have been built at the height of the town's link to steel production, and the large new tall buildings have, mostly been complementary in style.

There is no aircon in the rooms.
There is no aircon in the rooms.
The rooms are a claustrophobic worse nightmare.
A really weird layout.
Parking is over priced and restricted with no guarantee that you’ll have a space if you go out and come back.
The room floor gets wet after a shower and as it isn’t carpet stays wet unless you use your towel.
All of the staff were very friendly and polite.

I was visiting my Grandson at the University just for the weekend. I would have liked to stay longer to go walking in the Peak District. We did go walking Saturday afternoon but would have liked to do more.
Sheffield is a good base for visiting the Peak District. It is also good for Shopping and Eating out.
Would like to return soon.
Excellent rooms, spacious and very clean with great facilities. Everything you could possibly need.
Great location very close to the city centre though very quiet.
Upper and formost were the great team who work here Joe, Dave, Dan and Luke. What great guys friendly, helpful and very welcoming couldn't do enough for us. I'll never stay in another hotel when visiting Sheffield. The three cranes is a must stay cant recommend it enough 😃😃

Everything about this hotel is fantastic! The staff are super friendly and the reception area is great for socialising if you have the chance. The rooms are on the smaller side, but you are made aware of this when booking so it isn't a problem. It is perfect if you are looking for somewhere modern but cheap to stay that is close to Sheffield City Centre.
Hotel is newly refurbished, very clean. Bed was very comfortable and room was well stocked with tea/coffee and bathroom well stocked with shower gel/shampoo/lotion/hand wash.
Bar/hotel staff were all very welcoming and friendly.
Hotel was on a good location, only a 20 minute drive from Sheffield city centre. Location was peaceful.
I like it all. The room and the hotel are beautifully decorated, and the beds (medium firm, which I like!) and duvets are comfortable. Literally all of us had a sound sleep. Full English breakfast included is lovely. Ample parking space too. The staff are friendly and helpful. Will stay again if visiting Sheffield.
Beautiful apartment with its own parking spot in a residential area of Sheffield. A 15 minute stroll to city centre, part of which is via a lively street with bars and coffee shops leading to the Town Hall and main shopping area.
Owner very helpfull allowing us to use parking space after check out.
No-fuss check-in. Reasonable quality food on-site. All staff friendly and helpful. Clean decor and good condition of all fittings. Kettle with tea/coffee in room. Most of the comforts and facilities of the more expensive hotel chains. Reasonably close to city centre and station.
Fantastic location, ideal for Sheffield centre. Rooms clean. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Excellent value for money. Staff very helpful. Car parking on site which is great for being so close to the city centre. Rooms are basic, but clean, comfortable and warm. Quiet location.
Fantastic location for city centre. Despite this the double glazing was excellent so it’s incredibly quiet. Short walk to a secure car park (Q park chain) or tram stop. Clean, nice staff. Fairly standard hotel room but just what you need for a night away
Perfect location in Sheffield City Centre. Parking easily available nearby and the hotel will validate your parking ticket, I think it cost me about £7 for 24 hours parking. It’s what you would expect for a budget hotel, the rooms were clean but basic.
Stylist hotel, friendly staff and really large rooms. My daughter and me enjoyed the self service breakfast, nice to have a waffle maker for something extra to the full English, cereal, cold meats and fruit. Location was great for the city centre.
Modern spacious room, nice food at breakfast (though only oranges for fruit, would be nice to have one or two other fruits for variety), friendly staff, 30% discount on the car parking, very convenient location for Sheffield city centre.
we have stayed at this hotel a number of times over the past 6/7yrs.
it is a lovely place and convenient for Sheffield city centre and access to the Dales.
the staff are always very pleasant and helpful, hotel and grounds are lovely
Good location for Sheffield City Center and other areas with bars and restaurants worth visiting. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to eat at the hotel, but I used the gym which was good, well equipped and spacious.
Love staying at the Leonardo Hotel Sheffield, it is a very friendly place the staff are very friendly and helpful. We stay in Sheffield quite often and we always choose to stay in this hotel
The hotel location was great, very central to Sheffield. The room was a good size and was nice and clean. I didn't try the breakfast, so no comment there.
