This quaint double room with exposed beams in our 19th century cottage has a double bed, luggage stand, tea and coffee, table and chairs, a TV and radio. The room has an ensuite bathroom (soft water) with shower, WC, basin, and towels. Guests also have use of their own lounge with TV, tea and coffee, piano and board games. Guests can reserve the room only or optionally add a buffet-style continental breakfast. The cottage has free wifi throughout and free public parking nearby.
We are semi-retired and love village life, walking and cycling.
Luckington is a pretty little village. The friendly Old Royal Ship Pub is a 5 minute walk away and offers breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week, and the pub also houses a small village shop. There are many public footpaths and cycle routes nearby, including the McMillan Way long distance path a 5 minute walk away. Within a 10 minute drive are the Badminton Estate, Highgrove Gardens, Westonbirt Arboretum and connections to the M4. Bath and Bristol are just a 30 minute drive away.
