Any more central and you'd be in the Castle! Watch the King's Guards march past from the Kitchen window of this newly renovated 15th century penthouse apartment that has clear views of the Castle, the Round Tower and the Royal family's resting place, St George's Chapel. The apartment is on the 3rd floor of the building and provides plenty of space to comfortably accommodate 4 adults. Due to the age and wonderful quirkiness of the building, there are low wooden beams, sloped ceilings and uneven floors. Be sure to mind your head on the beams. We have a secret nook behind the fireplace that was used to hide priests from King Henry VIII during the reformation (circa 1529 to 1536). This is now a tiny library/reading/work space. Everything is on your doorstep: Shops, Cafes, Restaurants, the stunning Long Walk and the 5,000 acre Windsor Great Park full of deer and ancient Oaks. We have 2 train stations to Central London & Heathrow is a 17 min drive.
I'm a bit of an adventurer and have travelled a lot around the world. I am pretty considerate of other people and respectful of their homes and property when travelling. Because of this, I like to think I also make a good host for people travelling to my home country, too.
Windsor Castle is about 1,000 years old and the architecture of the buildings in the town are stunning. We also have lots of great restaurants, cafes, and shops. We've Legoland nearby, Horse riding in the park, rowing on the river and walks in our 5,000 acre Royal back garden which has an abundance to deer and other wildlife.
