Our room was very nice although it was quite snug. Having the radio on and playing Classic FM when we arrived set a very nice ambiance. Breakfast was very good and the service was excellent. On both nights we enjoyed a nightcap in the bar which was very nice.

It was a very quirky place to stay. The bedroom was on upper (mezzanine) type area above the sitting area and bathroom. At first it seemed odd but actually was very comfortable and a pleasantly unusual arrangement.
The location off the Market Square in Stow was excellent and we were able to walk around the twon easily from the Hotel.
The breakfast too was excellent.

Such a caraterist historical little village, with an enchanting and peaceful feeling. Every corner, and every building, is so picturesque and deserving photos. Our main meals were at the Stow Lodge Hotel, food quality superb and good value for money. Loved the antique shops and local cafes.

Pretty little Cotswold town with lovely honey coloured stone everywhere.
There is free parking at the local Tesco supermarket, five minutes walk from the town. The town square has is very spacious and also has parking.
If you like coffee and beer, you are in for a treat. There is an abundance of tea and coffee rooms as lots of decent pubs, including the Porch Inn which claims to be England's oldest.
The townhall is worth a visit as it has a very elaborate upstairs hall.
Make sure you get a photo of yourself stood by the two Yew trees that grow at the front door to St Edwards Church - very iconic.
Lots of National Trust properties nearby too.

Stow on the Wold itself, is a typical example of some of the beautiful Cotwolds towns and villages. Plenty of pubs and restaurants to suit all budgets and good for shops. A great location for walking to other lovely Cotswold towns and villages such as Bourton on the Water and the Slaughters. Also a good location for exploring further afield by car.

Lovely market town, with some great gastro pubs.
Especially the Queens Head pub at the end of the square. Landlady Anna and the bar staff Eva really looked after us and we had a great dinner there.
Another tip is the famous Scott’s of Stow kitchen shop and their outlet store full of bargains upstairs.

This place is just LOVELY! It is a well appointed room, with a private entrance, attached to Sarah and Alex's home and garden. We were very comfortable and felt safe in the nice neighborhood. Location was perfect. Walking distance to all the pubs, restaurants and shops in the gorgeous Cotswold village of Stow on the Wold. The house is delightful with cosy sitting room/large screen TV, 4 very comfortable bedrooms, well-equipped kitchen and the icing on the cake - a spacious hot tub which was very much enjoyed by all. Our generous hosts left us eggs, bread, milk and a bottle of wine which was certainly appreciated. We will be back!
We stayed in the Stuart House, the horse room. It was spacious and comfy, a touch of elegance. The room we stayed in was very quiet. Rooms at the pub might be noisier being right next to the pub. The food at the pub was quite good and the breakfast options were great. This was the best place we stayed in the Cotswolds (out of 4).
Great location, clean, safe, friendly staff. Included breakfast was delicious. Restaurant staff was attentive and kind. We thought the porridge was exceptional (saying a lot from our family of Yanks). The town is charming. Great base for exploring the Cotswolds. Beautiful rooms and amenities.
I had an incredible stay at this hotel! The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. I was impressed by how clean everything was. Plus, the air conditioning was a lifesaver in the summer heat, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing experience throughout my visit.
It is right in the middle of town. Loved everything about the hotel especially the age and history of the hotel and all the features like the huge fireplaces. The room was very spacious and tastefully decorated. We managed to park right outside the hotel.
Absolutely loved our overnight stay at Stow Lodge Hotel. We stayed on a B&B basis. Breakfast delicious and all the staff were excellent. Such a lovely, relaxed atmosphere and a perfect break before Christmas. Will definitely be returning 😌

Accommodation a little compact but very nice, although a bit tricky to find when we first arrived.
