Located just next to the famous Royal Mile you don't need to walk far to reach any main attractions in Edinburgh. In the very heart of Old Town, minutes away from Edinburgh Castle my place is the perfect base to explore the city. The best restaurants, pubs, and shops are at the doorstep! Getting around The flat is a few minutes from the Royal Mile and Princes Street with it's many speciality shops and restaurants. George Street are a shoppers dream come true and is also within walking distance or short bus trip. For those who like some green space The Meadows is a less than 30 mins walk away. Similarly, Edinburgh University, the Museum on the Mound, Dean Village are all nearby. Edinburgh/Bristol/Bath/Glasgow has an excellent transport system with frequent buses/trams/subways to most locations such as (insert distant but popular sites like Portobello). Besides walking and trams/buses/subway, you can also make use of the affordable taxis and Uber, particularly if you are carrying heavy bags. If you would like to travel in a healthy and fun way consider renting out a bike and travelling via the various bike routes available.
