Hodgkinsons Bed and Breakfast Hotel Matlock Bath Derbyshire Hodgkinsons Hotel is located in the beautiful Peak District on the edge of the National Park. This charming property offers elegant, individually, decorated rooms with attached bathroom in keeping with its Grade Il listing and most of which overlook the River Derwent. Breakfast is cooked to order and served in the dining room with crisp table linen, fresh flowers and antique lighting. There is a cozy lounge for guests to enjoy serving bottled local beer, wine, snacks, sourdough pizza, tea, barista coffee and homemade cakes etc, available when the Hotels Cave Cafe is open. Times vary seasonally, Thursday-Sunday from 10am Stepping outside, you are immediately spoiled for choice of things to see and do. The Peak District Mining Museum, Mini Aquarium and 'Lovers Walk' just a few of Matlock Baths attractions. A short walk along the river leads to Matlock Bath railway station. Stroll along a leisurely 2miles further to Matlock town with its lively center of shops, restaurants, bars and park. Other information: As this property is 250 years old and Grade Il listed, bedrooms are spread over three floors. There is not a elevator, therefore unsuitable for some guests. There is free parking of one car per room. This is located up a steep hill to the side of the property. The hotel front door is locked at 6pm each evening. Guests are provided with their personal entry key to enable them to come and go freely during their stay.
