Kevin and Karen were lovely hosts. The room was immaculately clean, everything smelt fresh and the shared bathroom was also kept clean. The cooked breakfast was lovely. I couldn't have been looked after more! Perfect location to seafront and shops too. Thank you.

although I was only there for a short time I enjoyed my stay. the town was close to my hotel and it was clean and tidy. there is plenty to do if you have children. I had a meal at the local chip shop which I believe was called geo on the main high ST. very good food and service. I visited some shops and the staff in the shops where in good spirits and helped the customers.

We just wanted a couple of quiet nights away,
For a family with young children who are on a budget it’s a good way to get away for a few days. Weather plays a big part but the beach isn’t bad, the pier and amusements can easily kill a rainy afternoon plenty of places to eat and drink Fairly cheap and basic seaside town but it’ll keep the kids happy

I think Clacton-on-Sea is a lovely town.
I think Clacton-on-Sea is a lovely town. The garden walk at the seafront is beautiful any time of the year; there are plenty of seats. There are loads of reasonable restaurants in Clacton and lots of activities for children. There is a very good Wetherspoon pub near the seafront. A good range of shops.

Clacton not too bad.
Clacton not too bad. But Jaywick where the caravan was is terrible, down and out people everywhere and run down properties. Fly tipping on the road to site.
We had two nights but only stayed one night as couldn’t wait to get home
Charming little guest house, run by a lovely couple, who really look after their guests. Super clean and comfy room, with everything we needed including bottles of water, biscuits and even chocolate. The towels in the bathroom were possibly the most luxurious towels we have ever had in a hotel, and we travel a lot and have stayed in some great hotels. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious! Located within easy walking distance to the sea front and Clacton Pier. Perfect for a weekend get-away.
Everything! The hosts Sofia and Paul were lovely, very personable and accommodating. The guesthouse is the perfect location for the beach and city centre. The room was clean/tidy and had everything we needed for breakfast. The bed was very comfortable too. Shower was spacious with instant hot water, unlike bigger hotels we've stayed in previously. This is one accommodation we couldn't find fault with.
Our room was spacious and clean on arrival. Really comfortable bed and nice shower with overhead waterfall option. Breakfast was included with our room rate, and was very nice. We also ate in the Greek Taverna restraunt in the evening, lots of drinks choice and food was lovely.
The hotel is directly opposite clacton pier so great location and parking is available at the back (24hrs was £12)
Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Both rooms were excellent with the seaview. Unfortunately, we had to check out early and missed the breakfast. We were there to attend a funeral from Clacton on Sea to Colchester Cemetry and were not able to make it back to the hotel.
Overall rating: Excellent
Hope to visit again
Thank you for the hospitality
The room was clean and comfortable, nice to be able to open the window enough to keep us cool. Good location as it was away from the madness of main Clacton. Nice modern hotel with nice friendly staff members. Enjoyed the meal we had in the Restaurant in the evening and good to be able to park easily.
The room is spacious with good sea view. The breakfast was also good and the staff who was handling it, I thought she was doing well. Excellent location, near the pier and couple of good restaurants, also 8-minute walk from Clacton on Sea station.
Property immaculate and inviting, staff were so accommodating and friendly.
Breakfast was so nice and I was a little worried because it was so cheap but one of the best breakfasts I’ve had, comparing to 5 star hotels. Brilliant location.
I like the location, the staff were very kind and helpful. The facilities were spotless. Felt more like a hotel than a guest house a lot of care and attention goes into the running of this establishment. Really first class experience.
Great hotel, great location and a lovely breakfast.
Danii who looked after us was very friendly, efficient and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble.
Will definitely stay there again next time we are in Clacton.
I actually liked the rustic feel of the hotel, but I can see how it wouldn’t be for everyone. It was incredibly close to pubs, the beach, restaurants, I loved that. The staff were friendly too.
Better contact the hotel directly. I paid 157 Pound for one night, the worker said the booking is inflating the prices, if you book directly with hotel it is much cheaper and you get breakfast.
Nothing to do with the rental accommodation
Liked being in Clacton on sea, as it’s a favourite of the whole family, as we visit several times a year as it has special memories for us
Very clean comfortable hotel just outside Clacton located on a retail park with McDonald's KFC and Lidl and other shops and a large pub next door. 15 minute drive or bus to Clacton pier.
Caravan is very spacious and confortable. Everything was clean and we really enjoyed the stay.
Clacton On Sea is just 5 minutes away by car and a near by parking spot available.
The chap on check in was fabulous, helpful and understanding, a great man, lovely room, warm and wifi great, excellent location, virtually on sea front, no complaints
