Very good location, excellent views, comfortable beds, good sized main bathroom and excellent kitchen / living room space with brand new white goods / oven / hob etc. Bit of a mix up with door codes to access the property but our phone call was answered and problem resolved quickly.

Surfers, paddle boarders, sun seekers and sandcastle builders can enjoy the expanse of Woolacombe’s award winning beaches 1.5 miles away. If walking’s your thing, you’re in the right place. Exmoor is half an hour. Nearer to home, Mortehoe’s paths connect to the SW Coast Path, and shorter trails, right on the doorstep, lead to Bull Point Lighthouse at Morte Point where the seals hang out, or lead inland to Ilfracombe. There, from the Victorian harbour, you can take a fishing trip, sail down the coast to see the sunset, perhaps take a full day’s excursion to Lundy island. Cyclists can hop on the Tarka Trail and explore 180 miles of cycle route. Or you could just sit and enjoy the view. Larkrise is part of the TJS Property Group. Upon entering The Grange building on the ground floor, a staircase leads you up to the 1st floor, where Larkrise Penthouse Apartment front door is located. A further staircase opens up to a lofty open plan living/dining/kitchen space which gives you extensive views over the surrounding countryside and coast. The well equipped kitchen provides for all your needs with fridge/freezer, electric hob & oven, microwave, washing machine, coffee maker and dish-washer. After sharing a meal round the dining table, snuggle up on sofas to watch films on the Smart TV. The 3 bedrooms are suitable for families or friends: the master has a super-king bed (twin on request) with a Smart TV and ensuite shower and WC; a king size (2 x 2”6’ singles on request ); and one twin with 2”6’ zip-and-link beds (king size on request). The second bathroom is equipped with free standing bath, separate shower and WC. Towels and linen are provided. There are communal gardens and on site parking for 2 cars. Dogs are welcome but on request only and charges apply.

The charming village of Mortehoe, with its rich history of wrecking and smuggling, sits above Woolacombe Bay. Surrounded by its pubs, village shop, cafes and restaurants, the morris men dance here in summer.
