Battle is a town in East Sussex famous for it's involvement with the Battle of Hastings in 1066. Visitors can indulge in tea rooms, local produce, hand-made goods, a butchers and organic vegetable stores. Standing proud is Battle Abbey, although part of it's building now lays in ruins, visitors still explore its battlegrounds and Abbey ruins.
