A lovely bright seaside house, 200m from the beach and Hove lawns. The house was our family home for 12 very happy years. It's a warm, sunny home and the rooms are all a good size. We've renovated the whole house so everything really is perfect but it still has a nice quirky character. There's plenty of space and light, it's perfect for couples, business travellers, families (with kids), and groups of friends. There's a great sofa, big enough for 8 people to relax. The dining table will sit up to 8 people and the kitchen has everything you'll need to cook a proper meal, basic ingredients (tea, coffee, milk, olive oil etc.) are provided. Though you'll probably want to try the huge selection of really good food available in the cafes, pubs and restaurants on your doorstep. There's also a dishwasher so cleaning up is easy. The 2 bedrooms on the 1st floor can be set up with king size beds or 2 singles. The 2nd floor bedroom has a king size bed, and the attic room has 2 single beds. The attic bedroom is accessed by a 'spacesaver' staircase it takes a little getting used to and isn't really suitable for anyone infirm or very young children.
I run this house with my wife Roberta and our friend Ronnie. This was our family home for 12 years and we've run it as a holiday let since 2016. In that time we've welcomed over a thousand guests from all over the world. We love this part of Brighton & Hove and can tell you all the nicest places to eat and drink, the nicest beaches and were to take the kids if it rains. If you want to explore further afield we can give you directions to the best walks on the Downs and the nicest country pubs too.
It's a quiet friendly street with almost no through traffic, a very short walk from just about everything - cafes, restaurants & bars, playgrounds & parks, shops, galleries & theatres. 10 mins walk along the seafront to the West Pier, Brighton Centre & i360. The Lanes, Royal Pavilion and the North Laine shopping area are all an easy walk too. It's a great base for exploring the rest of Brighton or you can happily stay in the immediate area, hanging out in the local pubs and the on the beach at the end of the road. Just round the corner is the famous Brunswick Square with a lovely quiet garden facing the sea, perfect for picnics and just along the beach is a great kids playground. If you're interested in sailing, cycling, park run or any other outdoors stuff I'll be happy to tell you where and when that all happens.
