Booked this stay for a surprise birthday gift. Loved the quiet location and would definitely return The view from the bed was amazing and we enjoyed our evening picnic. Facilities were great and had everything you need for a perfect stay

Egerton stands on a 350 ft ridge of Greensand 9 miles north-west of Ashford and has some of the most magnificent views across the Weald of Kent and Ashford valley. Egerton is the perfect place for long country walks, ample cycling routes on your doorstep, or a trip the seaside isn't far away with Hythe being only a 30 minute drive away, which has the lovely towns of Sandgate and Folkestone nearby also. If you are looking for nearby activities Port Lympne Wild Animal Park is a favourite and the World renowned Sissinghurst Castle Gardens are easily accessible by car. The Weald of Kent has so many beautiful villages to explore, why not stop off for lunch at one of the many pubs en-route, or enjoy a wander around Tenterden where you will find a variety of quirky interesting shops to browse.
