Everything! -Location was perfect - you can drive or take the train, doesn’t matter; shops, Leeds castle and walking trails nearby -The cottage is so pretty & homely - makes you want one for yourself -Loved the fresh milk, homemade scones & butter from Laurain -Meeting the animals☺️

Willow Cottage is a beautiful holiday home nestled at the foot of the North Downs on the outskirts of Maidstone in a small village called Harrietsham. We are known for our outstanding views, abundant wildlife and fantastic walks. We are located on a small holding with Alpacas, pigs, a sheep called Boo and various birds which you are more than welcome to pet and feed.
I was born in London but I am a country girl at heart I love to horse ride especially up on the North Downs you never get bored of the changing scenery of the seasons, gardening and my animals are also very important to me, not to mention my 3 children and 5 grand children who keep me very busy when they are with me. We are always around for guests if they require us if you wish to help feed the animals please ask we do like to give our guests space but we don’t mind a chat.
We are a small village with a pub, convenience store and post office. There are fantastic walks and cycling on the North downs including the Pilgrims way. Harrietsham station which has trains going to London Victoria a bus service which goes to Maidstone or Ashford.
