Lochaber holidays is a newly formed holiday home company operating in Lochaber and run by husband and wife team Angus & Lindsay. We are a busy working couple with a young family, a thriving building business and a working croft. We are local to the area born and bred and feel strongly about promoting the beauty and uniqueness of the Highlands. We have spent a great deal of blood, sweat, tears & money on converting this almost derelict 2 bedroom flat into a beautiful 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment and we hope our guests will appreciate the work that has gone into it. Our aim is to make it a home from home for guests. We are excited to be ready to host guests and genuinely believe our apartment offers a perfect space to relax after a busy day of sightseeing/climbing/skiing/hiking/mountain biking/beach combing or, our personal favourite, "dondering" about the Highland villages enjoying some local shopping and home baking. Welcome to the Highlands.

This recently renovated first floor apartment is set over two levels with stunning views over Loch Linnhe. It is situated minutes from the town centre by car and has free parking available. The apartment is accessed by a flight of stairs and on this level there is a lovely, bright open plan kitchen/living area with a modern, fully equipped fitted kitchen and a spacious lounge with comfortable couches and a smart tv with access to freeview & BT tv. For dining there is a breakfast bar with 6 stools and for our younger guests we can provide a small table and chairs or a highchair on request. The apartment boasts two kingsize rooms, one spacious twin room and a single room and can comfortably sleep 7 adults. The bedrooms are set on both the lower and upper levels and the upper kingsize benefits from dual aspect windows offering stunning views over Loch Linnhe. There is a family bathroom on the upper level with an electric shower over the bath and on the lower level there is a sleek shower room with an enclosed electric shower. A handmade work desk and chair is available on the upper level landing. Linen & towels are provided. Family friendly items are available upon request.

Located in a quiet cul-de-sac on the hill behind Fort William the apartment is a 5 minute walk downhill to the high street, bus station & train station and the end of the West Highland Way. The beautiful scenery and attractions of Lochaber are within minutes away. Fort William, the Outdoor Capital of the UK, offers holidaymakers everything from climbing the tallest peak in Britain, skiing at Nevis Range, taking the Harry Potter route on the Jacobite Steam train, breathtaking scenery & wildlife of the local Glens, mountain ranges, lochs & beaches to the simpler delights of local shopping, cuisine & artwork in the high street. Whichever direction from the apartment on the A82 you choose to explore you will not be disappointed. Head south and drive the majestic Glencoe route or take the road to Oban and enjoy the seaside sights; head north and take in the grandeur of the commando monument and on to Loch Ness and Inverness, or turn off and head to the stunning Isle of Skye; head west and find the Caledonian canal, enroute to Glenfinnan and the "Harry Potter viaduct" and then on to the small fishing village of Mallaig where the ferries to the Inner Hebrides or Skye awaits.
