Billycan, hotel in Penally

Located in Tenby and with North Tenby Beach reachable within a 7-minute walk, Billycan has a restaurant, allergy-free rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar.

Billycan don't do breakfast, saying that there are a lot of places nearby for breakfast, which there are. However if they did, it would probably be a stunning breakfast, judging by the evening meals we had. Best piece of advice is, not to have a starter, as the main sharing dishes are huge.

There really is nothing in Penally, but it is a short walk to the beach, and providing walking on the sand is OK for you, Tenby is accessible on foot, via the beach in about 30 mins. There are plenty of decent places to eat in Tenby, and Tenby itself is very pleasant.

Penally is a beautiful village and it is also the jump-off point for lots of lovely beaches, fine scenery, lots of castles and museums and gorgeous coastal views & islands. There are many local coastal towns such as Tenby & Manobier, and historic towns such as Pembroke & Carew. Penally has it's own bespoke bakery & café and the first carbon-free restaurant in Wales, which both serve yummy food.

Penally retains all of the old characteristics of Tenby.

Penally retains all of the old characteristics of Tenby. The old Rustic houses and narrow lanes built for horse and carts back in the days before cars were invented the layout of the land and houses with beautiful views make it a fantastic location to holiday in and I would recommend it to any one who travels by car. there are some good walkways but might be a bit too much for the very young and elderly.
