Made to feel very welcome by Wendy on arrival. Beautiful location with absolutely stunning views. The perfect little getaway and very appreciative of the extra little touches. Hospitality was amazing from booking as Nigel kept in touch with all the updates and details we needed before arrival.

Property info

Located on our small organic farm in the heart of the Kent Downs AONB overlooking the natural swimming lake. It has a private hot tub that you can step in from the decking and relax in with a cool drink whilst watching the sunset over the fields. It has a cosy Log stove, Hot running water, Gas Hob, Fridge and private heated shower room (20 paces away). Rose Shepherds Hut sleeps up to 2 adults and 2 children. Kent's castles, beaches and attractions are no more than 30 minutes away by car. A couple of things you should know before booking: The main bed is a fold up / down sofa bed, but it has a great mattress. The private heated shower room is a short walk away. The hut is too small for 4 adults, max occupancy is 2 adults and 2 children. Pets on request (Supplement cost payable) The hot tub is for your exclusive use.

The cottages and Hut are located on our private gated estate in the heart of the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the village of Challock has 2 shops, 2 tea rooms and a pub serving good food. We are very centrally located in Kent no more than 30 minutes drive from Leeds Castle, Dover Castle, Canterbury, Turner Contemporary Margate, The White Cliffs, Chatham Dockyard and much Much more . London can be reached in 38 minutes on the high speed train from Ashford. * Hand made in the Uk by skilled and passionate carpenters * Beautiful finishing touches, gas hob. small fridge, microwave * Free Wifi * Private Hot tub * Private deck deck overlooking the lake, * Surrounded by open fields and woodland all around. * Charcoal BBQ in your private garden, * Log Burner to snuggle up in winter (Wood available at extra cost) * Total peace and quiet * Secure on site parking * Great central location to explore Kent * Lots of excellent pubs and restaurants nearby * Walk in to the village shops and pub. * Heated modern private shower room.
