If you’re looking for a retreat by the water, Seal Watch ticks all of the boxes. Sleeping up to 4 guests, this modern apartment is perfect for families and small groups of friends. Located in the dock area of Whitby, you’re in for a real treat with views of the River Esk. Seal Watch is a bright apartment with a welcoming and homely feel. Throughout the apartment, you’ll notice interesting framed artwork on the walls and modern furnishings. Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during guest bookings. For this reason, we require all our guests to transfer a Damage Deposit (refundable, subject to an administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver which will cover you for up to 500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.

Neighborhood info

Seal Watch sits along the River Esk in the dock area. Walk along Church Street and you’ll wind up at the East bank where you’ll find narrow medieval streets dotted with boutiques, pubs and fish restaurants. Climb the famous 199 steps up to the Church of Saint Mary. You can also discover the renowned ruined Whitby Abbey, which was the inspiration for Bram Stoker’s gothic novel ‘Dracula’. Walk over the swing bridge which sits over the River Esk and you’ll find yourself at the West side of town. It’s here you can discover cosy pubs, fun arcades and even more fish restaurants! Continue along the lively road until you reach the beautiful, blue flag West Cliff Beach which is lined with idyllic beach huts. Step outside of Whitby and you’ll uncover a haven of woodland and moorland. Whitby forms part of the North York Moors National Park so it’s the perfect place for long walks.
