    “The location was great; a 10-15 minute walk from the beach, a quiet location, the busstop was a 2 minute walk from accommodation with regular buses into whitby. Staff were lovely and accommodating. Stable cottage is a home away from home.”

Nestled between the quiet little village of Sandsend and away from the busy Seaside town of Whitby , Stable cottage is a 2-bedroom property tucked inside the 4 Star Gold Caravan Park that is Sandfield House Farm. On a bus route that runs every 30 minutes it’s the perfect base for exploring Whitby and the neighbouring villages. You will find a wealth of restaurants, cafes and quaint shops in the centre of town and we are within walking distance to the promenade or beach that takes you right into the centre of town. Whitby has so much to offer from , arcades , sunset boat trips, local pubs, fine dining restuarants and a wealth of fish and chip shops , including the famous Quayside. Not only that but this pretty old whaling town offers a wealth of history, whether its exploring Bram Stokers famous Dracula tale, walking up the 199 steps to the Whitby Abbey, or discovering the local quaint shops in the old town. For those walkers amongst you the Cleveland Way is on our doorstep.
