The Annexe is a self-contained stone-built property within the village of Spark Bridge. It has been newly refurbished including new shower room and kitchen. There is a spiral staircase leading to the bedroom, which has limited headroom, which contains a double and single bed. An additional bed, travel cot(s) and a high chair can be made available upon request, so please do not hesitate to contact me to discuss other sleeping options. There is also a double bed settee in the living room. Please note, apart from The Royal Oak pub near the property, there are no other facilities in Spark Bridge. The nearest supermarkets are 5 miles away in Ulverston.
I work for the NHS, so love meeting people and helping where I can. I'd love to welcome you to share a part of my home and I hope you fall a little in love with The Lakes, just like I did when I moved here 14 years ago.
Spark Bridge is a former mill village within the Lake District National Park, Cumbria. There is a local pub, The Royal Oak across the road serving lovely food whilst the local market town of Ulverston is only 5 miles away. In the village of Greenodd 1.5 miles away, there is a chip shop, wine and cheese shop, a bakery and ice-cream parlour. The river Crake is across the road, perfect for a dip on hot days! There are also picnic tables great for Al fresco dining. The property is perfectly situated for exploring the local area including Coniston, Windermere and Grizedale Forest, along with great walking from the doorstep.
