The Old Chapel Apartment's Positioned on a beautiful village high street in the heart of Sherwood Forest, our two brand new apartments are in a renovated former Methodist Chapel and truly at the centre of village life. Beautifully-appointed and furnished in a luxurious modern style, each sleeping up to four people, they are perfect for couples looking for a little space or families and friends holidaying together. The Old chapel was built in 1848 and has just been through a total transformation, completed in March 2021. luxuriously finished with 5m high ceilings to the first floor, the original brickwork restored to give a cool and modern loft-aesthetic and beautiful 3.5m arched sashed windows replaced to bring ultimate light and impact to the property (don’t worry, we have blinds!), these holiday homes are most definitely unique to this incredible conservation area! Each mezzanine apartment has 2 bedrooms with modern en-suite bathrooms / wet rooms with beautiful finishings, powder room an open plan living and dining area and a fully fitted equipped kitchen. each apartment has a dining table seating 4 people, when both apartments are We look forward to hosting you!
As a family we’ve lived in Ollerton Village for over 30 years, running a B&B and Village Holidays’ holiday cottages, giving us a wealth of experience specialising in short term holiday rentals. Living a short walk away from our cottages in Ollerton and just two miles from Edwinstowe, we are more than happy to greet you on arrival or if you prefer, you can gain access to your holiday home with a key safe box at all of our properties. The apartments are right in the centre of Edwinstowe Village, located close to Newark in Nottinghamshire. An enviable location nestled in the heart of the village boasting very short walks to local pubs, superb restaurants and cafes. The location is ideal for exploring the surrounding country parks and estates, National Trust parks and has plenty of walking and cycling trails, as well as stunning golf courses close by - Sherwood Forest and the major Oak are walking distance (less than 1 mile), Rufford Country Park (2 miles), Sherwood Pines (2.5 miles), Clumber Park (7 miles), Newark Castle (16 miles) Local Towns and Cities Worksop Town centre (9 miles) Mansfield Town centre (7.5 miles) Retford Town centre (14 miles) Newark Town centre (16 miles) Nottingham city centre (19 miles).
