Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. This house has been renovated to a high modern design but has a country cottage feel inside. It has two double bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. Downstairs has a spacious lounge, dining room, kitchen and a porch which is ideal if you want a quiet space to sit on your own. The back garden is ideal for relaxing (weather permitting) in the summer. There is a Bar B Q on request from guests staying 4 nights or longer.
I love hosting and I am happy if my guests enjoyed their stay at Beinn Bréagha. I love to travel. Germany is visited regularly due to having a lot of relatives over there. I also visit Orkney a lot to visit my grand daughter and great grandson. I love driving my car, an Audi A3 Sportback, and regularly have days out in Inverness, Oban and Stirling. I used to go to play Bridge but unfortunately the Bridge Club closed due to lockdown. I live near the house and I will be available if you require to get in touch with me.
This is a very quiet neighbourhood in a well sought after village. It is approximately 15 minute walk from the town centre and a 5 minute drive to Glen Nevis where Braveheart was filmed. The Jacobite steam train goes along the edge of Inverlochy village on its way to Mallaig, crossing over the viaduct which is in the Harry Potter films. There is a bridge on the route to Old Inverlochy Castle which you can go on to watch the steam train coming towards you. Neptunes staircase is a short drive away. The back garden has a view of the mountains, including Ben Nevis, Britains highest mountain. It is a short walk to Loch Linnhe. Ideal for a quiet restful holiday but not far to walk in to the restaurants and pubs in the town. Parking is available on the street outside the house. There is also a car park 3 minutes walk from the house. There is a bus stop beside the car park if you need to get a bus to town or out to Caol or Corpach. Fort William town centre is about a 15 minute walk so it’s ideal if you want to go out for a meal and have a few drinks. Pets are welcome but I must be notified in advance if you are bringing a pet. There is an extra charge for pets that is paid direct to me. Please pick up all dog poos from the back and front gardens before departure. The fire will be set for your arrival with enough logs for your first night. If you require more logs they can be bought in the supermarkets.
