The staff at the hotel is so friendly and professional and the service is top quality. Rooms are in very nice condition and own pool/heated bubble bath are 10/10 with the seaside view stayed in the Sokaki and honeymoon suite. The breakfast served is also incredible. If I came back to Santorini I would definitely stay here again. The lunch offer from their restaurant is very tasty actually i would say the food is better there than many of the other places nearby and the price is fair. The only minus is that they don’t serve dinner. I think the restaurant stopped serve at 16:30.
Orizontes Hotel Santorini, located in Pyrgos village, lies beside a traditional settlement, only 3 km from Fira.

The breakfast was varied and super delicious and the staff beyond helpful. The location, for me at least, as an active person wanting to explore, was perfect as I wanted to be able to move around the island and there was a bus stop not far away that took you to Fira, Persia etc.
I adore views and from our bedroom we could see the sea from both sides of the island - the infinity pool drew me each morning before breakfast
Finally ALL staff were amazing. So helpful, so friendly and so kind, particularly as they were all so tired as it was the end of the season. THANK YOU

Good sized boutique style hotel, staff were friendly and helpful. Helped us to arrange meals and transport . Wanted a hotel on the west of the island to enjoy the sunsets and this was ideal- a short walk to pyrgos and santo wine although it's located on a busy road with no pavement as such. Well located to walk to megalachori too and bus stops very close by to get to fira and perissa.
Breakfast was reasonable, typical for the area when discussing with other family and friends that joined us for our son's wedding at el viento which was close by too

A beautiful and relaxed village on the hill tops with great views and plenty of fantastic places to hang out. Centrally located so you can get anywhere by public buses or by car. A place to be if you need to wind down and relax. For more party atmosphere and crowds head to Fira or Oia.

Pirgos is definitely worth a visit for authentic Santorini village. Boasts several great restaurants and shops on the twisting alleys leading to The Castle. Panoramic views across the mountains and out to the sea. Very welcoming locals and a range of accommodation from the most sophisticated Skyfall Suites to the most beautiful welcoming and authentic Olyra Cave Houses. I definitely recommend and will return. The Bakery also offers wonderful Orange Cake and Sourdough Boules along with stunning choice of desserts, cake and ices!

My visit to Pirgos Kallistis in Santorini was nothing short of magical! This charming village, perched on a hill, offers some of the most stunning views on the island. Wandering through the narrow, winding streets felt like stepping back in time, with each turn revealing picturesque houses, quaint cafes, and beautiful churches.
The atmosphere in Pirgos is wonderfully serene, a perfect escape from the busier parts of Santorini. The friendly locals added to the charm, always greeting us with warm smiles and helpful tips about the best spots to explore.
One of the highlights was the incredible panoramic view from the top of the village. We enjoyed breathtaking sunsets that painted the sky in brilliant hues of orange and pink, a sight that will stay with me forever.
The food in Pirgos was fantastic too! We indulged in delicious traditional Greek cuisine at several local tavernas, each meal a delightful experience of fresh, flavorful dishes.
Overall, Pirgos Kallistis is a hidden gem in Santorini. It's perfect for those looking to experience the authentic beauty and tranquility of the island. I can't recommend it enough!

A smaller and quieter town off the beaten track, perfect for those looking to get away from the bustle of Oia or Fira but still have access to shops and restaurants. Beautiful views from the top of the whole west coast of the island, very romantic at night. Walking distance to other towns including Megalochori and also vineyards there. There is a bus service here but as with all buses in Santorini service can be unpredictable, and crowded so best to find another mode of transport if not already staying here!

Pirgos is a lovely village 10 mins from the airport....but you wouldn't know it was that close noise wise.
The village has quite a few restaurants so not short of choice. It also has a mini mart and a bakery and a really good pharmacy should you need one. So really quite the perfect place with all you could want.
There is a bus service so you can get into the main town Fira and from there to other places on the island fairly easily and cheaply.
All in all it a really excellent place to stay

See reviews by guests who stayed at hotels in Pirgos
The concept of this hotel is excellent but sadly the execution falls a little short in some aspects. The room price suggests a '5 star plus' hotel experience but while the hotel staff are wonderfully welcoming, there is a degree of slackness that can't be overlooked. The location is great with a view down to the sea and a view up to Pyrgos. The front desk staff are warm and enthusiastic and always helped out when we needed it. Their recommendations for Caldera yacht cruising and car hire were excellent.
The hotel is fantastic, particularly the staff (exceptionally polite and attentive), the views (over the east of the island), and food (breakfast by the pool was amazing).
The hotel is quite new so everything is immaculately clean and well maintained.
The location on the island and in Pyrgos is fantastic, very easy to reach places by car if needed, or walk into Pyrgos for dinner/drinks with sunset views.
The room we stayed in was very special with a beautiful view. the position of the hotel is great if you don’t want the touristy area of Santorini center. the town pyrgos is very nice with good restaurants to choose from. the breakfast in the hotel is served in the room and is delicious.
We enjoyed the layout of the room and all the places outside to sit and enjoy the weather and views. The hotel was nicely located among many restaurants, a short walk to santo wines, and just steps from pyrgos square.
