Our hotel is located in the heart of Budapest, in the historic district. Previously, the property belonged to the Catholic Church, with part of it being used as accommodation for priests and the other part operating as stables. The architecture of the building is connected by a beautiful inner courtyard. Architecturally, the trend of the late 19th century is strongly evident, with its large, high inner space and tall windows. The robust entrance door also recalls traditions of the past.
Our team is dedicated to making our guests truly feel at home with us. Amber Studios is an open and hospitable community that strives to enrich guests staying with us in the heart of Budapest with new experiences. You can choose from several dozen programs with us, whether it's sightseeing, excursions, or thermal baths. Visit us and try the Amber experience!
Our hotel is located on Veres Pálné Street, named after the pioneer of girls' education in our country. The gymnasium named after her is located further down the street. In our immediate vicinity is Budapest's famous pedestrian street, Váci Street, which runs parallel to our street. Three blocks away from us is the Faculty of Law of Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE), the oldest university in Hungary, founded in 1635. To the south of us, at the end of the street, we can encounter the Great Market Hall, which offers a wide range of Hungarian food products. A five-minute walk will also take us to the Danube embankment, providing a beautiful view of the Buda side and the Castle. The world-famous tram line 2 also runs here, preserving the atmosphere of bygone times. Thanks to its central location, metro stations are just a two-minute walk away, providing easy and fast transportation for travelers. If you are craving a culinary adventure, we warmly recommend the BORLaBOR restaurant, located at Veres Pálné Street 7. BORLaBOR represents traditional Hungarian cuisine. In terms of selection and prices, it is one of the best choices in the area. If you are staying at our hotel, you will receive a 10% discount at the restaurant.
