The fact that it didn’t seem like what it is from the outside. It looked like it was a different place. The garden looked grown and lush and nothing nothing like its entrance. The villas were fantastic! Very traditional and the craftsmanship was just superb

The peaceful that comes from the location, also makes certain things hard. Like having to always take a cab, anytime you wanted to leave the hotel or needed to have an app to order food to the Villa. Cause nothing is in walking distance.
But if I had to choose between the easy of all of that and staying in a busy Kuta/Seminyak area or the need for taxis for this quiet stay. I will always pick this area. I enjoyed the calm and quieter area.

It's a good place to travel around and see the Balinese culture and the art and their craft. Whether it is a little hot it's around 32C. Even tho its a rainy season it was pretty sunny during the day.

It is not as busy as other areas (like Kuta or Denpasar).
It is not as busy as other areas (like Kuta or Denpasar). The access to Ubud or the coast is quite easy. A lot of attractions nearby (especially if you are an animal or nature lover).
Some areas might be dirty because of burning the garbage at the streets.
The journey from the airport to Balitri was smooth with little traffic here and there. Balitri is easy to find on google map, it has a big entryway for cars and an amazing facade at the front. I really like the stylish rooms and hangout space at the garden so our group can spend quality time together. The ricefield view is outstanding. The staff are friendly and always ready to help. The place is a bit secluded, but the villa has a security staff on standby during the night. Definitely would recommend Balitri to everyone.
Excellent, This place is truly a hidden gem. It's beautiful it's tranquil soo comfortable, clean and the staff are amazing, they go above and beyond to ensure you have everything you need. It surpassed my expectations, yes you need transport to access everything but it's so worth it. You are literally by the rice fields off the beaten track but easy access to waterfalls, butterfly sanctuary you are in the silver district. 25 mins from Ubud. With regards to Bali traffic that's pretty close
Very nice villa, spacious, with big and really comfortable private pool. We loved it!
Quiet place with rice fields around. Only 20 min drive from black sand beach, has some nice waterfalls around, and the butterfly park next door, free for those living in the hotel.
Very cute gekko coming out in the evening, and beautiful flowering tree in the garden.
Good price compared to the other hotels with private pool!
Bedroom was good nice painting on the roof, staff was really helpful. There kitchen were closed still they bought food from nearby shop. i must say without the help of staff we will not stay at this hotel. i dont remember his name but he is really helpful person, when we entered the room we saw some coffee & tea bags was there for us as a welcome drink.
The hotel was okay, seemed fairly new and modern and they had a very nice swimming pool out back. If you stayed in the rooms out back they had a nice view of Rice Terraces. The owner was very nice and sympathetic to my needs but he didn't understand me. The price was very low and that was one of the only good things.
We stayed in the two bedroom villa, which was such a lovely oasis for us. Staff served us meals to our rooms and were responsive to all requests, even if at times a bit lost in translation (our fault, we don’t speak Indonesian or Balinese). THE POOL in the villa was such a huge perk. As was air conditioning :).
Wayan is the best host I have met so far. We were two students travelling around Bali and he made sure we get the best experience out of it by arranging tours, drivers and even gave us practical suggestions after we left. The hotel itself is located in pretty quiet area and still has everything you need close by.
Gustra and his wife were very very nice!! Attentive, welcoming, helpful..Always with the smile..
The hotel is simple but very clean. Breakfast delicious with indonesian food.
When the taxi driver cancelled our trip, they proposed to drive us to our boat... What a chance !
You can go there with pleasure!
Rumah Paros is a great place to stay. Made Kaek and his wife are wonderful people who do everything to make their guests happy and Kaek's many works of art give your stay a special atmosphere that will not easily be found anywhere else. An absolute must for art lovers visiting Bali / Sukawati.
We came from North Bali directly here and this was exactly what we needed after a long day travelling. The staff accommodated us amazingly and always made sure we could contact them if anything was needed. Our villa was very nice and clean with a outdoor bathroom and cute little kitchen
Beautiful location - 100 metres from the heart of Sukawati but you would never know it when you’re there - so quiet and tranquil. Staff and lovely, friendly and accommodating, rooms are air conditioned and spacious, plenty of security and storage
Locally run, 3 villa setting with very welcoming and helpful host. Quiet and relaxing and about 15 minute walk from Sukawati center. Perfect for people who want to get away from the busy side of Bali and want to see the more traditional side.
Friendly staff who weren’t too pushy the location is a bit out of the way but the taxi service provided by the hotel is exceptional, the beach being black sand is ok but the sun rises are amazing.
A comfortable place to stay in Sukawati that includes an outside kitchen. The owner was responsive to issues that came up, such as a squeaky bathroom door.
Breakfast was great, good selection for a smaller hotel. We had the floating dinner served on the a tray in the pool - great for a novelty for the kids.
