A pretty nice place if you are looking for a short vacation there have nice massage places which is pretty affordable. There lots of local food options and places to visit & also quite a few places with western food as well which are pretty nice to explore. Obviously because of the currency differences, taxi and meals were extremely better. but because of the cost of the ferry ride to and from Batam, it all comes to the same. Wonderful place for a short getaway. Quite a number of places to go to for massages. Value for money. Only real catch is private transportation - certain ride-hailing mobile app services might run into rivalries with local transportation practices.

Good affordable destination. Difficult to get things due to relatively low English speaking ability of workers in tourism industry including guide drivers hotel staff and staff at shopping malls. This to me an area to be improved to make Batam a more friendly tourist destination.

Around 100m from the hotel there’s a lot of franchise restaurant/bakery, and around 200m there’s a big food stall area. Easy to find any kind of food, including veg/vegan options. The front door is locked at 10 PM so it’s safe. Multiple room type choices, but this one with bunk bed is great for 2pax. The receptionist are helpful and communicative.
