SelvaDolivo is located in a narrow valley on the slopes of Monte Pisano, yet it enjoys a perfect exposure to the sun and a breathtaking view on the forest. It is a typical Tuscany farmhouse built in the '800 and perfectly restored to maintain its charme and architectural features. Our guests will enjoy our warm welcome, a cosy self-contained and independent apartment, a well-equipped outside area with barbecue, small pool and children playground, surrounded by olive trees. We will welcome our guests in a recently restored one storey apartment on the ground floor with direct access to the parking and equipped outside area. The apartment has two double bedroom each with en-suite bathroom, and a large living room with fully equipped kitchen. Guests will have direct access to a dedicated outside area equipped with dining table, deck chairs, barbeque, a small pool and a trampoline. Due to the strength of the signal, Wifi is only available in common areas. To reach SelvaDolivo in its privileged position our guests will experience true "italian countryside driving"! The winding road to the property is quite narrow as it twists and turns through the old man-made terracing.
During the last 25 years I have been traveling and living in many different countries around the world, perhaps looking for some sort of deepest connection between myself and the world as a whole and after many years I have found that it only comes when it begins within our-self.
SelvaDolivo is located 2km from the medieval village of Vicopisano famous for its Brunelleschi fortress and a well-preserved historical centre. Vicopisano is very lively and guests may enjoy the rich calendar of events throughout the year. Check our (Hidden by Airbnb) page for updated information! Moreover, Vicopisano is within less than one hour drive from major touristic attractions such as Lucca, Pisa, Volterra and the sea. SelvaDolivo is located within a well-kept network of hiking tracks that our guests can access directly from their doorstep, and walk to the pieve of San Jacopo or up the mountain top. To reach SelvaDolivo a car is needed. However, we offer a transport service from the airport in Pisa or train station for those who wish to take a break from their everyday life!
