Wonderful hotel set in the midst of Lucca (the walled city) very helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was good although I would suggest they let you know you can have cooked items too as this wasn't explained on day one. Other than that it was fantastic.

Very tidy hotel in a great position within the city walls just off a main spot. Very easy check in and keyless entry to hotel and room, so no searching for keys. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Charming, huge space, ideal location

Our stay here was wonderful! Lucca is a hidden gem, and the location of Hotel Diana is right off the Piazza San Martino. The room is basic, but it's spacious and just fine for a couple for a few days. The staff are very pleasant and professional, and the check-in experience was easy. All in all, this was a great spot for a short trip to one of the prettiest cities we've ever been to. Highly recommend!

I think this was the best hotel we stayed in during our 20-day Italy trip. The hotel is so cute, very clean, staff were so nice and helpful! The room was beautiful, bathroom was great (two sinks)! Beds were comfortable too. We have nothing bad to say or any complaints. I'd definitely stay there again.

Classic old hotel that has been kept in perfect condition. Great breakfast. Staff was awesome, and at breakfast, she remembered my morning cafe, americano without me asking.

My wife and I just spent 1 night at the Lucca Heritage hotel. It was in a great location close to everything in Lucca. The hotel was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The best part of the hotel was the staff. Guilia at the front desk was amazing and gave us loads of recommendations. We also had a lovely breakfast made by an outstanding chef. Would higgly recommend.

The place was very clean, the stuff was very kind, it was a great pleasure to stay 5 nights in San Marco hotel.

Location-wise, it could not be more ideal. It is incredibly close to the Via Francigena, making it the perfect sanctuary to slip into after a long day of walking. Despite its accessibility, the property is remarkably quiet. There is zero street noise, just pure tranquility that lets you actually unwind and reset. The communication from the host was exceptional from start to finish—clear, proactive, and completely effortless. Inside the room, the attention to detail shines. The bed is exceptionally comfortable, Katerina was a wonderful host, full of restaurant suggestions and information and their little dog Tina was so sweet.

The hotel accommodated for our late arrival outside regular check-in hours. Staff were friendly and helpful. The city centre is just a short walk away.
