I have traveled for many years for business and leisure. Since I have lived in various countries of the world, I try to bring to Naples, my hometown, a few of the things that I have learned to enrich even more the beautiful city. Posillipo is one of the best residential neighborhoods in Naples. In particular, the Porta Posillipo area is very quiet and advantageous for those who want to find street parking. The area is ideal for those who love greenery but also nature and the sea. In fact, there are several parks in the area (Virgiliano and Vergiliano to name a few). Via the steps of Villanova, it is possible to reach the beaches (Sirena or Elena for example) within 20 minutes on foot. Guests can also enjoy the near seaside promenade by hopping on the characteristic funicular. Two minutes from the hotel there is a sushi restaurant and a panoramic bar/café with a view of the gulf and Vesuvius. Furthermore, various services include a supermarket (Conad), laundry, gym, garage, florist, and wellness. Getting around: Guests can also enjoy the near seaside promenade (10 minutes away) by hopping on the characteristic funicular. By public transport, Vomero is 15 minutes away , same as Mergellina, while the historic center is 35-40 minutes away. To go to: - Vomero (commercial district) there is the direct C31 bus stop close to the property. - Mergellina (seafront) there is a direct funicular stop in front of the house, a 4-minute walk away. - Historic Center there are three options: 1) funicular to Mergellina, then metro line 6 (reduced hours) to Chiaia or Municipio; 2) bus C31, then metro line 1 to Toledo or Università; 3) funicular as above, then metro line 2 to Montesanto.
