It was absolutely the best place we stayed in Sicily. The chef was incredibly wonderful and talented. The staff was kind and the rooms were Homie and lovely. They even helped us with getting some laundry cleaned.
The only hotel at an altitude of 6562 feet in the UNESCO World Heritage Site Etna Regional Park, Hotel Corsaro is 984 feet from the cable way and meeting point for excursions to the crater.

Had a wonderful stay. Davide could not have offered us a better experience. The rooms were large and comfortable. All three couples had terraces and great views of the mountain top. The bar and the spa experience were exactly what we needed after a long day. Davide booked us a reservation at a wonderful restaurant 400m from the hotel. Breakfast was perfect. Plenty of parking. And super affordable to boot. Could not have asked for a better stay.

Ideal location for exploring Etna. 20 minutes by car to Rifugio Sapienza. View to Etna from the terrace. Very responsive and helpful hostess. The room was clean and tidy. The terrace was ideal for breakfast and supper.
If you plan to visit Catania from Nicolosi, consider driving to "Parcheggio Scambiatore Due Obelischi", and then using bus BRT1.
This town has so much charm and everyone here is so lovely.
This town has so much charm and everyone here is so lovely. We enjoyed going on a long walk around the neighborhood, and at night the whole town comes alive in the Piazza. These folks know how to have fun!

Anyone staying in Nicolosi for a holiday needs their own...
Anyone staying in Nicolosi for a holiday needs their own transport. Sicily is not like Malta and doesn't have a good public bus service, sadly.
Also you need to be a very confident driver if you are considering hiring a car there. It's every man/woman for himself.
The only other way to get around is by booking tours, which do seem to be plentiful.
Plenty of good places in Nicolosi to eat and well stocked supermarkets.
My only criticism really is the amount or rubbish left on the road sides, which seems such a shame for such a beautiful civilised place and is something that local councils really need to address.

Very scenic and a quaint village.
Very scenic and a quaint village. You will need own transportation to be more free to go where you want. They have rosticcierie for lunch and food is lovely.
For pizza, particularly if you have intolerances, order from Punto ICS - excellent and does delivery.
We also ate at La Baita di Rosemary, prices are affordable and they have a varied menu but isn't ideal for food intolerances, though they do oblige for food for children.

Nicolosi is a vibrant town with lots of delicious restaurants. It is very easy to get to Etna from here, and good travel link to other tourist attractions such as Taormina, Catania, Aci Reale. Comparing to Catania, Nicolosi is much quieter, cleaner and we feel very safe in this town.

Great location for visiting Etna and the region.
Great location for visiting Etna and the region. Unfortunately, constant dogs barking meant that we couldn't use place to relax in-between excursions. Host has 7 dogs and most neighbours do too, we took are dog, but he is trained. Host was nice, English not so good but neither is my Italian so not really an issue. Patio of place was full of ash on our arrival, which could have been swept up in 2 mins and avoided being walked inside. I don't know if it is mentioned in the description the amount of dogs the owner has, but if somebody has a fear of dogs or small children who are a bit dog wary, this is not the place for you. You do not come into contact with them but you are well aware of their presence.

Tourist town. I regret we had stayed there.
Tourist town. I regret we had stayed there. Was hard to find an honest and authentic place to eat. Lost of repelling restaurants.
Luckily we were recomended by our host to eat at Scorzonera and it was worth it.

The owners are very friendly. They also suggested some restaurants where we can eat in the evening. In fact they also booked the table for us at one of the restaurants. They also gave us some vouchers to use when we went to visit Etna mountain which saved us a lot of money during lunch there. The location is very close to many attractions and shopping places and the area around the house is very peaceful. Definitely recommend the property .
Peaceful property with quality linens and towels in a spotless room. Comfortable bed and pillows. Breakfast included sweets, savoury, juice, coffee, and fruit. Kind and caring couple operating the hotel. Restaurant and bar open during high season. Pool will be refreshing in warmer weather. Great spot to base your Mt Etnea exploration. Treat yourself to a room with a balcony and Mountain View.
Casa Camilla exceeded my expectations!!
The owner is very hospitable and was always available to answer my questions.
The house is amazing! Beautiful interior and exterior!
The location is very easy to access with a lot of cafes and restaurants nearby.
Majestic rooftop view of Mt Etna and local area!
I highly recommend Casa Camilla if you will be in or near Nicolosi!
The host was very warm and helpful. The kitchen was entirely at our disposal including what was in the fridge which is a nice plus when you arrive late and tired from your etna trip. Great location at only 25 min drive to Etna Sud. The breakbeat was nice. The beds are comfortable. The room was spacey with a nice bathroom.
As a place to get a great closeup Etna experience, this is the best. We arrived the day before our Mt. Etna climb and it was so convenient. Coupled with a very good breakfast and a restaurant that served one of the best dinner’s in our 24 day Sicily trip, it was perfect. All staff was very accommodating and professional.
As is very evident, the hotel is situated on Mt. Etna. The views of Sicily are breathtaking and the rooms are very nice. For breakfast, they have a whole selection of pastries in the cafeteria, which doesn't serve only the hotel. That makes it very nice because there is a wide selection. There is also ample parking.
Great location to visit Etna and Catania! Really nice athmosphere close to the Etna Vulcano. The host is outstanding! Alessandro was always reachable, gave great recommendations and provided help instantly. We loved to stay there. We felt very welcomed. Highly recommended!
The room was very nice, comfortable, nice terrace, superb view on Catania and the coast. Nice staff, very attentive reception, they agreed to keep our bags the next days after check out while we were going up Etna. Nice spa, not expensive. Breakfast very good as well.
The hotel is just a couple of minutes away from the main square, and they have a parking on the back which make it easy to park your car, as otherwise you would have to pay for the parking since it is in the city center, and there are very good restaurants around.
Breakfast was good but would prefer English breakfast. The room was very clean and they changed the towels ever 2 days and was surprised because they changed the linen in the middle of our stay. Not many hotels do it. I would recommend this B&B.
Breakfast was great, Even with home made cake. Massimo is very nice and caring. Nicolosi is a nice little town and a good Place to stay of you want to visit the etna… and this Place is the perfect Place to get some rest before and afterwards.
Spacious living area, nice kitchen, comfy bed and hot shower. Good location on a square in Nicolosi with free parking. Lovely host, friendly, kind and full of lots of good local information. Made my stay in Sicily comfortable and stress free
Hospitality, friendliness of hotel manager and personnel.
Exterior architecture, interior design, cleanliness.
Proximity to Etna activities starting point.
Overall, the hotel is fabulous!!!
