The lobby was a suitable and well lit space for working since my room was small and not conducive to spreading out my work and laptop.

Brindisi is a lovely small town, full of charm and beautiful views. You pretty much can cover everything in one day, leaving the remaining days for day trips to nearby locations. The only issue is that if you are not driving, you are not going to be able to fully experience all that this town has to offer. We personally took the train to Lecce, Gallipoli, Bari and Polignano a Mare. Food is excellent literally in EVERY PLACE. Totally recommend.

Brindisi is a small town in the region with an airport...
Brindisi is a small town in the region with an airport served by the low cost airlines. You can choose this place if you want a quiet get away where you can just chill. The town itself is a half day visit max, if you are into sight seeing. Having said that, since the town has an airport and a train station, this could be your hub from where you can visit the other interesting places of the region. the Train Italia's website and the ticket vending machine will give you the mode of transport (both bus and train) and timing if you punch in the destination. Bus services to other towns are mostly once in 30 or 60 mins. So start early and finish early. Lecce, Alborobello, Locorotondo are doable. If you want to visit other places, I would suggest start early. People are friendly here.

Brindisi centre is 13 minutes drive from the Airport. We enjoyed our short stay there before exploring Puglia. We decided to return to the City on our last day as we loved the restaurants along the port, particularly Betty’s

A relatively quiet port town, more popular with Italian tourists than foreigners. Great for an authentic Italian holiday experience- not too fancy but with a pretty promenade and a good choice of restaurants and shops. Good train connection with some attractions of the area, but not all of them (there are different railway companies in this area and some more distant journeys need good planning). Be sure to use the water tram to cross the harbour- it costs one bus ticket and it's very pleasant:)

Brindisi is nice place but I felt more a stop off place on the way to alternative locations. We travelled to Monopoli and Alberobella by train and both were amazing . Also took a train to Lecce which is nice too but we arrived when most shops/restaurants were closed for siesta so hard to really give a true picture. We were slightly disappointed with the food generally.. plenty of pizzerias but found it hard to get spaghetti bolognaise or Lasagna on any menu.

Wandering through Brindisi’s narrow streets filled with...
Wandering through Brindisi’s narrow streets filled with quaint houses and Baroque buildings is like stepping back in time. The town's stunning architecture is a blend of different influences, reflecting its rich cultural heritage. Visit the Cathedral of Brindisi, with its beautiful blend of Romanesque and Gothic styles, or admire the majestic Palazzo Granafei-Nervegna, a noble residence turned contemporary art museum. The Column of St. Lawrence is another architectural gem, standing tall since the Roman times. Brindisi’s location along the blue waters of the Adriatic Sea grants it access to breathtaking beaches and a picturesque coastline. We selected the Hemingway Beach.
This small family run hotel is in a great location, clean and spacious. Upon arrival the owner checked us in and showed us to our room. All of the staff at The Torino were extremely helpful and happy to give us advice on where to visit during our holiday. We also rented the hotel electric bicycles for the day which were great fun and a quick way to see the city and surrounding beaches. I would definitely recommend staying at The Torino to anyone thinking about visiting this beautiful part of Italy. 5 stars!
We were truly the first guests in this house, as described. But we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay with a child. You can cook food and wash clothes :) The owner of the property is very good-natured and helps with all the questions you have. Our 3-year-old child cried on the last day so as not to leave here. The location is very good. You can quickly reach the beaches, the city center and the beautiful park in Puglia. Highly recommended!
Great appartment in the heart of the historic centre of Brindisi. All amenities we required for our sadly too short stay and the host Giuseppe could not have been any more helpful and welcoming. Excellent communication, and information for our stay, not only whilst in the apartment but also in advance of us arriving there, highly recommend and will hopefully return to Mare Nostrum if in Brindisi again.
Good kitchen facilities and breakfast provided.
Villa Anna is a beautiful little guest house/ hotel that we used on arrival/departure to Italy. It's a 10 minute walk to Brindisi airport but you would never guess as its so peaceful. It has a lovely garden where you can relax and have a drink. The rooms are super comfortable and clean with a great shower. Stefania and her staff are really kind and helpful. Would definitely stay there again if we go back to that area again.
Perfectly located for bars and restaurants along a small side street and a short walk to the waterfront. Allesandra was the perfect host always available and willing to help. The pool was quiet and fitted our needs perfectly, the decor and surrounds of the rooftop were a dream to relax in, The room was clean airy with a small outside balcony perfect to sit on after a day strolling around the beautiful streets of Brindisi
The hotel is only a short walk from the train station and near restaurants and sights. The room was very pleasant and well equipped, and immaculate, plus there was a balcony overlooking a church. The host, Nina, was communicative and on top of everything with the check in and arranged for me to leave my bags. It was all very easy. The breakfast was excellent, and the woman who served it was gracious and helpful.
- Spacious apartment; both the room and lounge area
- Excellent location, very close to restaurants and cafes, but still seemed like a quiet area and a 10min walk from the main bus station.
- Daniele was very helpful in providing bus directions for the beach and Port. Also provided many recommendations for beach exploring, restaurants and stored my bags. A wonderful/ kind host.
loved everything about this hotel: Staff was super friendly (special thanks to Andrea, who gave us the smoothest check-in ever as we had our super tired 7m old baby with us), breakfast was lovely and had good options, the room was spacious & clean and in general super pretty. we are so staying again at this hotel when we‘re in Brindisi as the location was fantastic!
The location was superb. Walking distance to everything we needed (the harbour, the train station...). The host had been super nice and prepared a complete handbook for us about what to do in the area, prices for massages and transfers to nearby beaches and the airport, and left business cards for good restaurants in the area. That was super helpful!
There is little in terms of choice in Brindisi. This hotel has two elements, the hotel itself and an annex which contains suites. We stayed in the latter which is some 100 mtrs from the main building. The room was large and clean but the hotel is pretty soul-less although the staff are very friendly and do their best. The breakfast is adequate.
Set in nature but near enough to brindisi, this house is tasteful and welcoming. Very comfortable in every aspect, huge spacious rooms, your own sitting room and drawing room - all the glory of an old house. A lot of art and books around give the visitor a glimpse of the owners. fantastic breakfast served under the blossoming trees.
The room was very clean, nice modern furniture, newly equipped, the hotel is perfectly located to discover the old part of Brindisi and close to the water and to restaurants and bars. very friendly and flexible regarding check-in. thank you
We only stayed a single night but were very happy with our stay. The hotel could not be in a better location, right on the waterfront, with bars and restaurants on your doorstep. The staff are very friendly and the breakfast excellent.
a very nice place and i must say i was very satisfied and close to the airport close to the beaches you can go walking and also good value for money a nice breakfast bone car all very modern and elegant nice really nice
Very good location (close to airport, city centre and the beach), spacious appartment, nice welcome from the host (snacks for kids and bottle of wine for adults). We loved Brindisi
Met an old friend in Brindisi and stayed there 4 nights. Breakfast was amazing! Room was quiet añd spacy and the bathroom wasn't mini-sized. Very pleasant and helpful staff.
Location was excellent and convenient for me to go to work and access a good restaurant when I came back from work. Close to the main shopping areas in Brindisi.
