Our small accommodation is centrally located, ten minutes walk from the Venezia Santa Lucia train station, from the parking lots in Piazzale Roma and from the Rialto Bridge; it is three minutes from the San Stae vaporetto stop. It is suitable for couples and families (with one child). It was restored in 2016, simply furnished, has a ceramic hob, microwave, refrigerator, washing machine, iron and TV. Electric heating NO GAS, air conditioning, WiFi NEW 2021: Wellness area with double jacuzzi, single infrared sauna, relaxation beds and chromotherapy.
We are a married couple for over 30 years who like to know other cultures. We love hosting people of all nationalities in order to deepen our knowledge. At the same time we like to travel and savor the hospitality of other peoples.
The apartment is located in a quiet street in Sestriere Santa Croce overlooking the Grand Canal at the Natural History Museum in front of the Venice Casino. Among the streets of the Santa Croce district, among the main attractions not to be missed is the Church of San Giacomo dell’Orio, one of the oldest churches in Venice, full of paintings inside. The square that surrounds the Church is a meeting place for the inhabitants of Santa Croce, who like to spend time here, between a walk and a walk. In this district we can find the seat of the Natural History Museum, in Fontego dei Turchi, the largest medieval palace overlooking the Grand Canal. The Campo di San Stae is worth a visit, where the Baroque-style Church of San Stae stands, embellished with marble decorations and inside which we find works by Tiepolo. Among the unmissable attractions of the district we find two beautiful palaces, Palazzo Mocenigo and Ca 'Pesaro. The first located in Campo di San Stae houses the Museum and the Study Center for the History of Textiles and Costume, while the second is the permanent home of the International Gallery of Modern Art.
