Chic 2 bedroom-2 bathroom apartment in the heart of Venice: 3 minute walk to Rialto (and boat direct to the airport), 9’ to St Mark's Square, 15’ to train station The apartment has just been refurbished and is my weekend home. It's been a passion project and I'm delighted to be able to share it with you! It is situated on the 3rd floor of a 1500s building, it overlooks a canal and a lovely square. It is composed of a sitting and dining room (with a comfortable sofa bed with full size double mattress), 2 bedrooms (one en-suite), kitchen, 2 bathrooms Working with a well-known Italian interior designer, I have devised a theme of contrasts in which these traditional features are paired with XX century designer furniture. I tried to preserve as many as possible of the beautiful original features. These include high ceilings, ornate arched windows, traditional Venetian "terrazzo" flooring and an antique fireplace in the living room

My name is Uto and this is my holiday home. I am in love with Venice and, although am originally from a different part of Italy, love spending as much time here as I can. The apartment is located right in the middle of town and is a few metres from Rialto Bridge. Pretty much the whole of Venice can be reached with a short walk: St Mark's Square is about 9 minutes away, Museums such a Palazzo Grassi, Palazzo Fortuny, La Scuola di San Rocco are all also a sort stroll away. The Airport Shuttle stops at Rialto station which is a 2-3 minute walk The Venice Train Station can be easily reached by foot (15 minutes) or by boat (similar time, but convenient if you have heavy bags)
